Casio documents several environmental partnerships and a Pink Ribbon breast-cancer initiative. A collaboration watch, however, is not automatically a donation: a product can raise awareness or support an organization’s work without every purchase sending money to that group. Treat a proceeds claim as established only when Casio states the terms for that specific model, market, and period.
How to search for a cause-linked G-SHOCK
- Start with the partner or initiative name. Casio’s corporate material says the company plans and sells collaboration watches with environmental organizations. The partners it names are Surfrider Foundation, ICERC Japan, Aqua Planet, Charles Darwin Foundation, Earthwatch Japan, and Nature Conservation Society of Japan. Casio also documents Pink Ribbon G-SHOCK activity separately. Search the cause or partner name alongside “G-SHOCK” and prefer Casio’s own pages over reseller descriptions.
- Record the exact model number. Cause-themed colors or a logo on the dial are not enough to identify a collaboration. Note the full model number, such as GAB2100DF-4A, because a related but different reference (for example, a regular GA-2100 in a similar color) can look identical in a photo.
- Confirm the release year and the lineup it appears in. Casio’s pages refer to models from different years, so a model named in one lineup may be an earlier release. Check the year Casio attaches to that specific reference.
- Confirm the market. Lineups and fundraising terms can differ by country. A model or donation described for Japan or the United States does not automatically apply elsewhere.
- Read the donation terms for that exact model, if they exist. Use the checklist in the section below. If Casio gives no amount, percentage, or beneficiary, the watch should be described as an awareness collaboration.
- Check live availability separately. Official pages identify announced collaborations. They do not show current stock at any retailer.

G-SHOCK x Surfrider Foundation (G-5600SRF)
Casio says the G-5600SRF was created with Surfrider Foundation, an organization it describes as working on ocean environmental protection. The watch’s materials are the company’s stated design choices: recycled plastic in the urethane exterior and resin scraps from manufacturing in some components. Casio’s US specification page lists the watch’s shock resistance and its 200 m (20 bar) water resistance. Those are product descriptions. They do not show that buying a particular unit sends money to Surfrider.
G-SHOCK x Charles Darwin Foundation
Casio says this partnership has produced conservation-awareness collections since 2023, with designs inspired by species of the Galápagos. The current lineup page lists the GAB2100DF-4A and GAB2100DF-1A, and refers to the GA-B2100CD (2024) and GW-B5600CD (2023) as earlier models. Casio describes the watches as solar-powered and made with bio-based resin. Because the pages are a lineup snapshot, confirm that a particular reference is still offered before assuming it is on sale.
Pink Ribbon G-SHOCK
Casio releases limited-edition models to support Pink Ribbon activities that promote awareness and early detection of breast cancer. Its corporate page is the most specific source of donation terms in the material reviewed, and those terms are covered in the figures section below. Individual model numbers for these releases were not stated in the material reviewed, so identify them from Casio’s Pink Ribbon listing for the market you are buying in.

Other environmental partners
Casio’s environmental collaborations also include ICERC Japan, Aqua Planet, Earthwatch Japan, and Nature Conservation Society of Japan. Casio says its ICERC Japan collaboration reached its 30th year in 2024, and that its ongoing dolphin and whale watch models trace back to 1994. Its FAQ says its biodiversity-preservation efforts began with a G-SHOCK environmental collaboration product in 1994, but the FAQ’s publication date was not stated. For any older release, confirm the current model and partner details before recommending it.
Does the purchase donate? A checklist
Before describing a watch as supporting a cause in financial terms, look for all of the following in a Casio source for that exact model:
Rank #2
- Magnetic resistant, shock resistant, 200-meter water resistance, led light, world time, stopwatch, countdown timer
- 5 daily alarms, hourly time signal, full auto-calendar, 12/24-hour format, approx. Battery life: 3 years on cr1220
- Quartz Movement
- Case Diameter: 49mm
- Water resistant 200m (660ft): in general, suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports, but not diving
- An explicit amount or percentage of sales (not a general pledge to a cause)
- The named beneficiary organization
- The market where the terms apply
- The time period the terms cover
- The specific model or limited edition the terms cover
If any item is missing, the accurate description is that the watch was made in collaboration with the organization, not that a portion of its price goes to that organization.
Figures Casio has published
- Japan, Pink Ribbon: Casio reports that in fiscal 2025 it donated 5% of sales of these models in Japan to J.POSH, a certified NPO. This is Casio’s figure for that fiscal year and market, and it should be attributed to Casio.
- United States, Pink Ribbon: Casio says the Breast Cancer Research Foundation logo was used on product packaging and that Casio donated $20,000 in fiscal 2025. This is a company total for that market and period. It is not a per-watch amount, and it should not be presented as one.
- ICERC Japan collaboration: Casio reports the collaboration reached its 30th year in 2024.
How Casio describes the program
Casio’s corporate page summarizes the environmental program this way: “Casio supports these groups by planning and selling collaboration watches and sharing information.” That is a statement about the general program. It does not say that every collaboration watch produces a donation.

Before you buy
- Match the model number on the retailer listing to the number on Casio’s page, not only the watch’s name or colors.
- Confirm the listing is for your market, since the terms for one region may not apply to another.
- Check whether the listing states any donation terms, and compare them with Casio’s figures for that model.
- Expect stock and pricing at third-party sellers to change; treat any listing you find as current only on the day you check it.
Giving to a cause directly
If your goal is to support an organization, a direct gift to that organization is a separate choice from buying a collaboration watch. Find the organization’s donation page through its own website rather than through a product listing, and confirm the page is official before entering payment details.

The Casio material reviewed supports the partner names, the models listed above, and the specific donation figures attributed to Casio. It does not provide a complete historical catalog of cause-linked G-SHOCK models or live retailer inventory. The most recent donation figures are for fiscal 2025, and model lineups change, so verify any newer release’s terms directly with Casio when you are reading this, which is October 2026.
