Identify your Skyhawk before adjusting the bracelet

Use that reference to locate the matching Citizen product page or manual; directions for a different Skyhawk may not apply to your bracelet. Citizen’s pages for the JY8078-52L and JY8071-51L, for example, describe stainless steel bracelets with fold-over clasps and hidden push buttons. That description identifies those models’ clasp type, but does not establish a tool-free micro-adjustment mechanism. Other Skyhawk variants may differ. Why link removal can be risky
Bracelet links are held by small components that can be damaged if removed or reinstalled incorrectly. Citizen Watch US Support warns: “If you are not familiar with bracelet sizing procedures or have the proper tools, the pins could become damaged and that may lead to failure of the pin position and loss of your watch.” [What bracelet size should I select when placing my order?] [c002]
