Huawei unveiled the WATCH GT 6 series in Paris on September 19, 2025, highlighting longer battery life, positioning, outdoor sports tools, and health tracking. The standard GT 6 comes in 41 mm and 46 mm sizes, while the GT 6 Pro is a 46 mm model. Huawei claims up to 21 days of battery life in light use, but estimates vary by use and conditions.
The key difference is that the Pro adds specified premium materials and features such as ECG analysis, while both models belong to a sports-focused range with more than 100 workout modes. Check the product page for your market before relying on a particular feature or price.
What Huawei announced—and when
Huawei presented the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 and GT 6 Pro at its Paris global launch event on September 19, 2025. Launch coverage identifies the standard GT 6 in 41 mm and 46 mm sizes and the GT 6 Pro in 46 mm. A Danish release stated retail availability began September 22, 2025; that date should not be assumed for other markets.
Huawei’s Danish launch announcement gave a recommended retail range of DKK 1,999–3,899. That is a Denmark-specific launch range, not a current or universal price. Availability and pricing depend on market, so check Huawei’s local store or an authorized retailer.

The main story is battery life
Huawei describes the GT 6 series as using a high-silicon battery and says the GT 6 Pro battery has 37% higher energy density. These are Huawei’s claims, not independent test results. Huawei also cautions that actual use varies with product differences, habits, and environmental conditions.
| GT 6 Pro battery scenario | Huawei estimate |
|---|---|
| Light use | Up to 21 days |
| Typical use | Up to 12 days |
| Always-on display | Up to 7 days |
| Outdoor sport mode | Up to 40 hours |
These are manufacturer estimates, not a guarantee of the same runtime for every owner. Settings, workouts, and usage habits affect battery life. The dossier does not establish comparable battery estimates for every GT 6 size and configuration, so check the regional product page for the model you are considering.
GT 6 versus GT 6 Pro: what changes?
The standard GT 6 offers two case sizes; the Pro is a single 46 mm configuration. The available research supports the Pro’s listed materials and features but does not establish a complete, region-by-region specification matrix for every difference between the models.
| Feature | GT 6 | GT 6 Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Sizes identified in launch coverage | 41 mm and 46 mm | 46 mm |
| Case and glass | Check local product specifications | Aerospace-grade titanium alloy case and sapphire crystal, according to Huawei |
| Display | Check local product specifications | 1.47-inch AMOLED; Huawei lists up to 3,000 nits peak brightness |
| Battery estimates | Check local product specifications | Up to 21 days light use, 12 days typical use, and 7 days with AOD, according to Huawei |
| ECG and pulse-wave arrhythmia analysis | Check local product specifications | Listed by Huawei; availability and regulatory status may vary by market |
Huawei says the Pro display area is 5.5% larger than its predecessor’s. The listed 3,000-nit peak brightness and display-area comparison apply to the Pro product page consulted; do not assume they describe every GT 6 variant.

The Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro is the premium 46 mm option described by Huawei with titanium alloy, sapphire crystal, and additional health functions. The Huawei Watch GT 6 46mm and Huawei Watch GT 6 41mm represent the standard model’s two size choices. Confirm each listing’s regional specification and seller details before buying.
Sports tracking and outdoor positioning
Huawei says the series offers more than 100 workout modes and highlights cycling, trail running, golf, and skiing. The launch materials also describe improved outdoor positioning through Huawei’s Sunflower Positioning System. Huawei claims a 20% increase in positioning accuracy; this is a manufacturer-stated comparison, not an independent measurement.
Huawei describes trail-running metrics including positioning, altitude trends, and real-time grade analysis. Golf features include course maps, while skiing tracking includes positioning and activity data. The Pro product page also lists freediving to 40 metres and skiing tracking for up to 100 runs. Check local product details for feature availability.
Cycling features and sensors
Huawei describes virtual cycling power, along with on-wrist heart rate, inclination, speed, distance, and real-time cadence. The virtual power feature is advertised as a watch feature; Huawei does not say that a power meter or cadence sensor is required to use it.

Health and wellness features
Huawei’s GT 6 Pro product page describes sleep-stage and respiratory measurements, stress tracking, all-day heart-rate variability monitoring, blood-oxygen measurement, ECG analysis, pulse-wave arrhythmia analysis, emotion tracking, and a combined wellness summary.
These are manufacturer-described device features. The reviewed sources do not establish independent clinical validation or diagnostic capability. Treat measurements as informational rather than a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. ECG and other regulated functions may depend on regional approval and availability; check the local product information.

Android and iPhone compatibility
Huawei says the GT 6 Pro is compatible with iOS and Android. TechRadar’s October 2025 review says Huawei Health can interface with Strava and Komoot, while noting limitations in third-party apps on the watch. App availability can change with region and software version, so verify current support before relying on a particular integration.
