Reference 424.XC.5510.NR.NYC25 was presented as a tribute to the brand’s new Fifth Avenue boutique in New York.
What makes the Concrete Jungle edition distinctive?
Hublot connects the watch’s concrete construction to the Brutalist architecture and urban character of New York. Its May 28, 2025 announcement says the Fifth Avenue boutique façade uses the same material as the watch’s case and bezel. The release describes this as the third Concrete Jungle edition, following a Big Bang in 2016 and a Classic Fusion in 2020. Hublot’s announcement presents these points as the design rationale for the edition, rather than independent performance findings.
Hublot CEO Julien Tornare described concrete as “tactile, refined, even expressive” in high design, and said the watch captures “the raw energy of New York and the meticulous precision of Swiss watchmaking.” Those are the brand’s stated design intentions; the published specifications establish the materials and construction details, not an independent assessment of the watch’s look or feel.

How the HUB1201 movement works
Hublot identifies the HUB1201 as a manually wound, skeletonized movement with a power-reserve display. The product page gives its minimum reserve as 240 hours; Hublot’s announcement expresses that as ten days. The release also lists 223 components, a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour), twin barrels and a rack-and-pinion power-reserve indicator marked in red. These are manufacturer-reported construction specifications, not independent inspection or performance testing.
Case material, wear and water resistance
The Concrete Jungle’s specified case and bezel material is matte concrete. Hublot’s published dimensions are 44 mm across and 15.3 mm thick, with 50 m / 5 ATM water resistance. These figures describe the watch on paper; they do not establish how it wears on a particular wrist, how the concrete compares in durability or weight with other case materials, or how it performs in real-world use.

The included strap configuration pairs a grey fabric strap with Velcro fastening and an additional black lined rubber strap. Hublot’s page also provides a strap configurator, but the listed details do not establish compatibility with third-party straps.
