Its defining proposition is a Ferrari Centro Stile design paired with Hublot’s HUB1280 UNICO flyback movement—not a small or understated Classic Fusion. Hublot’s launch specifications make it an interesting model to seek out, but they do not establish present-day availability, market value or real-world wearing performance. This is a specification-led review based on Hublot’s launch material, not a hands-on test.
What the Ferrari GT is—and what this review can establish
Hublot introduced the Classic Fusion Ferrari GT in 2019 as a new expression of its Ferrari collaboration. The brand described it as the first Classic Fusion to receive the UNICO manufacture movement. Hublot’s March 22, 2019 launch release supplies the model’s specifications, edition counts and launch prices. Those details support a close look at what was offered, but not claims about measured accuracy, comfort, legibility on the wrist or ownership experience.
Hublot’s design story assigns the movement to Hublot and the watch’s “body” to Ferrari, with the Ferrari Centro Stile credited for the design. The brand characterizes the case as a concentric suspended element. That is the manufacturers’ account of the collaboration, rather than independent verification of design authorship.
What movement is in the Hublot Classic Fusion Ferrari GT?
All three editions use the HUB1280 UNICO, a self-winding flyback chronograph movement. A column wheel is visible through the dial, making part of the chronograph architecture a prominent design feature as well as a mechanism. Hublot lists a 4 Hz frequency (28,800 vibrations per hour), a 72-hour power reserve, 354 components, 43 jewels and a movement thickness of 6.75 mm. The company also says the caliber is protected by four patents.

Flyback functionality allows the chronograph to be reset and restarted in one operation, rather than requiring separate stop, reset and start actions. The stated 72-hour reserve is the manufacturer’s specification; it is not an independently tested result. Together, the caliber and its visible column wheel are the strongest technical distinction in the Ferrari GT’s specification sheet.
Case, dial and strap: the Ferrari GT’s design proposition
The case measures 45 mm across and 13.15 mm thick, with Hublot stating water resistance of 10 ATM (100 m). Those figures describe a substantial chronograph, so buyers should consider the dimensions against their own wrist and intended use; the specifications alone cannot establish how it will wear.

Hublot describes an anti-reflective-coated sapphire dial with visible mechanics, a red thread around the sapphire, red detailing and the Prancing Horse emblem at 12 o’clock. The black rubber strap is dressed in Schedoni leather. The effect, as presented in the launch material, is to combine motorsport cues and an exposed mechanical display with a leather-accented strap. No independent use test establishes how the dial reads in different lighting or how the strap performs over time.
Ferrari GT editions, references and launch prices
The 2019 collection consisted of three materials and two edition sizes. The prices below are historical launch prices dated March 20, 2019, not current retail or resale estimates.

Hublot describes 3D Carbon as a polymer matrix composite made with three-dimensional fibers. That description identifies its construction concept; it should not be read as a claim about durability or performance. The launch release also lists regional launch prices: titanium at CHF 20,900, EUR 21,700 and GBP 18,200; King Gold at CHF 36,900, EUR 38,300 and GBP 32,100; and 3D Carbon at CHF 25,900, EUR 26,900 and GBP 22,600.
The release does not establish present-day stock, secondary-market prices, price retention or resale performance. A limited number at launch is not, by itself, evidence of current scarcity or investment value.

How it compares with another 45 mm Classic Fusion chronograph
For family context—not as a substitute for a Ferrari GT—the current Classic Fusion Racing Grey Chronograph Titanium 45 mm has a different movement and lower stated water resistance. Hublot’s Racing Grey product page lists HUB1143 and approximately 48 hours of power reserve; those details do not apply to the Ferrari GT.
| Specification | Classic Fusion Ferrari GT | Classic Fusion Racing Grey Chronograph Titanium 45 mm |
|---|---|---|
| Case size | 45 mm; 13.15 mm thick | 45 mm; thickness not stated on the cited product page |
| Water resistance | 10 ATM (100 m) | 5 ATM (50 m) |
| Movement | HUB1280 UNICO self-winding flyback chronograph; column wheel | HUB1143; flyback operation not stated on the cited product page |
| Power reserve | 72 hours | Approximately 48 hours |
| Dial visibility and details | Sapphire dial with visible mechanics, red detailing and Prancing Horse at 12, according to Hublot’s 2019 launch release | Not stated in the cited product-page details used here |
| Strap | Black rubber dressed in Schedoni leather | Not stated in the cited product-page details used here |
The comparison shows why specifications should be checked by exact model rather than inferred from the Classic Fusion name or 45 mm size. The Racing Grey illustrates the family’s breadth, but it does not answer questions about the Ferrari GT’s movement, dial or strap.

Is the Hublot Classic Fusion Ferrari GT worth seeking out?
The Ferrari GT makes the clearest case for itself if the buyer specifically wants the Ferrari-linked design and the HUB1280’s flyback chronograph, visible column wheel and 72-hour stated reserve. Its 100 m stated water resistance is also higher than the Racing Grey comparator’s 50 m. Against those attributes are the 45 mm case, the model’s distinctive styling, and the fact that the launch prices are historical rather than a guide to what a particular watch costs now.
Before considering an example, check that its reference matches the claimed case material and edition, then verify condition, provenance, completeness, service documentation and seller reputation. These are general purchasing checks, not claims about any specific listing. No current Ferrari GT stock, market price or service cost is established here. Hublot’s current official site offers boutique appointment and strap-finding services generally, but its current Racing Grey page concerns a different model.
