What does Rolex Certified Pre-Owned mean?

Rolex says included watches return to its workshops, where the original configuration is verified and the watch is disassembled so its components can be checked and authenticated. Rolex also says each watch receives the checks associated with after-sales service and is tested in wear-like conditions. In the company’s words, “Only Rolex can confirm the authenticity of a Rolex watch.”
Does a Rolex CPO watch come with a warranty?
Yes. Rolex says each CPO watch is fully serviced and comes with a new two-year international guarantee, beginning on the date of sale. The purchase also includes a special seal and a guarantee card marked “Certified Pre-Owned.” Rolex says the card attests to the watch’s proper functioning and acts as an official authentication certificate.
Which Rolex models are available at Wafi?
Rolex describes the Wafi showroom as offering a wide selection, including iconic models, but the listing does not name specific references or provide current prices, condition reports, or reservation status. Availability can change, so contact the boutique directly to ask about the exact reference, production year, condition, price, and whether the watch is still available before making a visit or purchase decision.

What to check when comparing a CPO watch with another pre-owned Rolex
The CPO designation tells you that the watch has gone through Rolex’s stated programme process and comes with its international guarantee. It does not, by itself, establish that a particular watch is a better value or will appreciate. Compare the specific watch and sale terms:
- Identity and originality: Ask for the exact reference and production year, and confirm what is known about its provenance and components.
- Condition and service: Ask what documentation is available for the individual watch and what service work was completed. Rolex describes its programme process, but the Wafi listing does not provide model-specific condition reports.
- Guarantee and paperwork: Confirm the sale date that starts the two-year international guarantee and check that the CPO guarantee card and seal accompany the watch.
- Price and availability: Compare the quoted price and seller, and verify that the watch is still available. No collection-specific price list or live inventory is published in the material available.
