Lewis Hamilton’s publicly documented watches include two co-designed, limited IWC editions, several watches he has been identified wearing, and a Richard Mille linked to him in a 2026 report. The evidence is a selection of collaborations and reported appearances—not a complete inventory of his personal collection or proof that each watch remains in regular rotation.

The two IWC watches designed with Hamilton
Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition, ref. IW503002
IWC announced this Lewis Hamilton collaboration on 28 November 2019. The edition was limited to 100 watches. Its 46.5 mm case is black zirconium oxide ceramic, with a Bordeaux-red dial and textile strap; 18-carat 5N gold appears on the crown and case-back ring. IWC says Hamilton created the design with the brand’s designers. IWC’s model description specifies calibre 52615, a seven-day power reserve, and a perpetual calendar with a double moon-phase display. IWC’s 2019 announcement also quotes Creative Director Christian Knoop saying Hamilton brought the Bordeaux-red-and-gold idea to the collaboration.
Portugieser Tourbillon Rétrograde Chronograph Lewis Hamilton
This is a distinct IWC collaboration, not another version of the 2019 Big Pilot. WatchPro’s 21 September 2023 interview covered the launch and Hamilton’s involvement. British GQ described the watch as a platinum Portugieser with a teal dial, 12 diamond hour markers, a tourbillon, retrograde date, and Hamilton’s logo. GQ reported a run of 44, matching his racing number. British GQ’s coverage is the source for those design details and the reported production count.
In the WatchPro interview, Hamilton said, “I’ve got a nice little collection and I would love to design more.” He also described himself as “very much an IWC man” and said he had been eager to wear the new watch to the track.

IWC watches associated with Hamilton through appearances
Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41, ref. IW388306
IWC’s November 2023 campaign material identifies Hamilton wearing the Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, reference IW388306. The brand identified the same reference as his watch at its July 2024 ten-year partnership event. IWC describes the motorsport-partner collection as titanium and Ceratanium models with tachymeter scales. These are specific, dated associations; they do not establish that Hamilton owns this reference or wears it routinely. IWC’s partnership retrospective places his watch relationship alongside the team partnership that began in 2013.
Big Pilot Top Gun Lake Tahoe
British GQ reported that Hamilton wore the Big Pilot Top Gun Lake Tahoe for much of the 2023 season. GQ described it as a white-ceramic watch with a perpetual calendar. This is reporting about a particular season, not a confirmation of current daily wear or ownership.

The Richard Mille report and its $2.2 million valuation
In an article dated 3 October 2026, Motorsport.com reported Hamilton wearing the Richard Mille RM 43-01 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph. The publication described the model as Ferrari-inspired and designed with Ferrari’s design studio. Motorsport.com valued it at $2.2 million. That figure is the publication’s reported valuation—not an official retail price, a confirmed purchase price, or evidence of a completed sale.

The strongest evidence for Hamilton’s personal design involvement concerns the two named IWC collaborations. Brand materials and dated event or campaign coverage support additional IWC associations, while the Lake Tahoe and Richard Mille details come from media reporting. Those evidence types should not be treated as interchangeable: being pictured wearing a watch does not by itself establish ownership, how often he wears it, or whether it remains in his rotation.
