What is the Seiko NARUTO & BORUTO collection?
Seiko Watch Corporation announced the collection on 29 September 2020, with availability planned for December 2020 through Seiko Boutiques and selected retail partners. The announced limit was 6,500 pieces for each character edition. That figure is the production limit Seiko stated, not a count of watches sold or still available.
The official collection name uses “NARUTO & BORUTO.” In the series, the seven designs draw on details associated with characters from Naruto and Boruto. Seiko’s descriptions below explain the intended visual references; they are design inspirations, not separate watch functions.

What specifications do the seven watches share?
Seiko’s 2020 announcement gives the collection a Caliber 4R36 automatic movement with optional manual winding, 24 jewels, a 41-hour power reserve, hacking seconds and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (six beats per second). The announcement lists a 42.5 mm case diameter, 13.4 mm thickness, Hardlex crystal, nylon strap, see-through screw case back, 10 bar water resistance and 4,800 A/m magnetic resistance. Check the specification page for the exact reference and market before treating a detail as universal: regional pages differ in the fields they publish. For example, Seiko’s SRPF75 page lists 46.0 mm lug-to-lug, 93 g weight, Hardlex, LumiBrite and a 22 mm distance between lugs. What comes with the Naruto and Boruto editions?
Seiko’s Naruto and Boruto pages describe a case back with a clan emblem and serial number, with the stated sequence running from 0001/6500 to 6500/6500. They also describe a special box inspired by the Earth and Heaven Scrolls from the Chunin Exams. These details are specifically documented for those two editions; do not assume every packaging or case-back detail is identical across all seven without checking the relevant model. - Confirm whether the listing uses the regional suffix, such as SRPF70K1 or SRPF65K1, and compare its details with the correct official model page.
- Check condition, seller identity, included box and documentation, and whether serial-number details are clearly shown. The official pages describe a serial-number range, but that alone does not authenticate a listing.
- For a replacement strap, verify the exact reference, lug width and attachment. A 22 mm lug distance is listed for some references, including SRPF75, SRPF73 and SRPF70; it should not be assumed for every model.
