Earthen Co.’s Summit Collection is a trio of ceramic automatic watches: Blue Bird, Whiteout and Overcast. In a review published August 31, 2025, Fratello reported a 38 mm case, 100 m water-resistance rating and Miyota 9039 movement across the collection, alongside three distinct color combinations. Its reported launch price was US$899 per watch, excluding taxes; that is historical pricing, not a confirmed current price.
Three versions, three different looks
The variants share the same reported dimensions and movement, but differ in case, dial, lume treatment and strap color.

Color is the main point of distinction visible in the reported specifications. Blue Bird’s luminous white dial gives it the most overtly legible, high-contrast treatment in the trio’s descriptions. Whiteout pairs a black dial with its white case and strap, while Overcast keeps to a dark case and dial, with the khaki strap and faux-patina detailing providing contrast. The review does not quantify differences in ceramic finishing or compare their visibility under particular lighting conditions.
Dimensions, materials and movement
Fratello reports a 38 mm diameter, 45 mm lug-to-lug length and 10 mm thickness for each Summit model. Those figures make the collection relatively compact on paper; actual fit still depends on wrist shape and how the strap sits. The cases are ceramic, the crystals are sapphire, and the stainless-steel case backs are secured by four screws. Each watch has a screw-down crown.

The movement is the Miyota 9039, an automatic caliber that can also be wound manually and has a hacking seconds function. Fratello lists 28,800 vibrations per hour, 24 jewels and a 42-hour power reserve. There is no date display reported, so the dial layout remains free of a date window.
The review gives the watches a water-resistance rating of 100 m (10 bar). That rating is the extent of the supported claim here; it does not, by itself, establish suitability for a particular activity or conditions.

Straps and changing them
Each model is reported to include its color-matched sailcloth strap plus an additional NATO strap. The installed sailcloth strap has quick-release spring bars, which allow it to be removed without a separate spring-bar tool. Fratello does not state the strap width, so check the manufacturer’s specifications before buying a replacement strap for fit.
Launch price and availability: what the 2025 report says
Fratello’s August 31, 2025 review reported a price of US$899 per watch, excluding taxes. It also reported Earthen Co.’s plan to make an initial 100 pieces of each model and restock afterward. These are launch-era figures, not confirmation of current pricing or stock. The review does not establish current sales channels, shipping terms, return policy or warranty.

When submerged, ensure the crown is fully screwed down. Avoid operating the crown or pushers underwater to prevent moisture from entering the movement.
The reviewer considered the use of a Miyota movement notable in relation to the reported price, contrasting it with the higher prices often associated with Swiss mechanical movements. That is the reviewer’s assessment, not a universal rule about movement origin and watch pricing. Fratello also attributes this sentence to Earthen’s official press release: “It’s not high horology, but it’s daring—pushing boundaries to deliver unmatched quality at this price.”
Who might prefer each Summit
- Blue Bird: the most distinctive choice if a white, fully luminous dial and light-blue strap are the draw.
- Whiteout: suits someone who wants a white ceramic case and strap with a black dial for contrast.
- Overcast: the darkest combination, with matte black dial and case offset by a khaki-green strap and faux-patina-filled details.
All three share the reported size, movement, crystal, case-back construction, crown and water-resistance rating, so the choice is principally about the color treatment rather than a different technical package. Fratello frames the watches for people seeking a utilitarian watch and reports the brand presenting the Summit as “a watch built for adventure”; these are descriptions, not evidence of a specific use rating.
