The Chronoswiss Neo Digiteur Sand and Granit are hand-wound mechanical watches that show time without conventional hands: jumping hours appear at 12, digital minutes in the center, and seconds sweep at 6. The two limited editions share the same movement and case; their main documented difference is the dial finish and color.
What is the Chronoswiss Neo Digiteur?
The Neo Digiteur is a modern return of Chronoswiss’s 2005 Digiteur, an original credited by the brand to founder Gerd-Rüdiger Lang. The Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry announced the Neo Digiteur on November 27, 2025. Chronoswiss presents it as a revival of that earlier design.

“Digital” here describes how the numerals are displayed, not an electronic screen. The hand-wound C.85757 caliber and Chronoswiss’s developed Digiteur module mechanically operate the hour and minute displays; a conventional sweeping hand indicates seconds. The arrangement combines a regulator-style layout with a rectangular case.
What is the difference between Sand and Granit?
| Model | Reference | Dial | Price listed in the EU | Edition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Neo Digiteur Sand | CH-1373.2-ROSI | Sandblasted 4N brass; warm-toned with blue printed numerals | €13,800 on Chronoswiss’s EU product page, checked October 8, 2026 | 99 pieces |
| Neo Digiteur Granit | CH-1373.2-ANSI | Galvanic-black brass; anthracite/black appearance with contrasting displays | €13,800 on Chronoswiss’s EU product page, checked October 8, 2026 | 99 pieces |
The documented distinction is aesthetic: dial treatment and color. The technical information supplied by Chronoswiss specifies the same movement, case construction, dimensions, water resistance and strap configuration for both. The €13,800 figure is a region-specific manufacturer-listed price observed on that date, not a promise of current pricing or availability elsewhere.

How does the mechanical digital display work?
- Hours: A jumping-hour display sits at 12.
- Minutes: Numerals show digital minutes in the center.
- Seconds: A seconds hand sweeps across the display at 6.
The movement is Chronoswiss caliber C.85757, manually wound, with the brand’s in-house-developed jumping-hour Digiteur module. The technical sheet lists 19 jewels, a frequency of 21,600 A/h (3 Hz), and an approximate 48-hour power reserve. Those figures are manufacturer specifications; no independent timekeeping measurement is established here.

The technical factsheet describes a rectangular stainless-steel case measuring 48 × 30 mm, 9.7 mm high, with a 20 mm lug width. Chronoswiss’s product-page summary separately labels 48 mm as the diameter. Because this is a rectangular case, the fuller 48 × 30 mm dimensions are more useful for judging its footprint than a circular-diameter comparison.
Construction details include polished edges and satin/matte brushed and sandblasted surfaces, a double-coated anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and a sapphire caseback. The stated water resistance is up to 5 bar (50 m). Chronoswiss specifies a black nubuck strap with a steel pin buckle.
Price and limited-edition status
Chronoswiss listed both watches at €13,800 on its EU product pages when checked on October 8, 2026. That is the manufacturer’s displayed EU price on that date; prices, taxes, availability and terms may differ by market or change over time. Each colorway is limited to 99 pieces. An edition limit alone does not establish resale value or investment potential.
