Monochrome Watches reported its announcement on June 30, 2025, as the farewell edition to a collection that began in 2022: 100 pieces, with a launch price of EUR 3,950 excluding VAT.
What makes this the Final Edition?
De Rijke & Co presented this version as the send-off to its Miffy Moonphase line. It brings the collection’s characteristically oversized moonphase illustration together with the brand’s rotatable Amalfi Series case concept. The result is not just a new dial treatment: the ceramic construction required a redesign of the rotating case arrangement, according to Monochrome Watches’ June 30, 2025 launch report.
How the rotating case works
The watch uses an outer ceramic lugcase and a ceramic inner case that can be positioned within a 90-degree arc. The report says the revised mechanism uses ball bearings to reduce friction and a spring mechanism intended to provide precise rotation. This swivelling inner-case design is the mechanical feature that links the Miffy edition to De Rijke & Co’s Amalfi Series.
Ceramic resists scratches, but it is brittle compared with many metals and can be damaged by a hard impact. That trade-off matters in a watch whose distinctive construction includes ceramic in both the outer and inner case.

Case, dial and display
The reported case measures 38 mm in diameter and 11.3 mm thick, including the domed sapphire crystal. Monochrome notes that the first Miffy Moonphase measured 10.5 mm thick; the source does not provide a full specification comparison across the earlier editions.
A matte white lacquer dial sets off black hour and minute hands and markers, with a red-orange central seconds hand. The oversized moonphase display is the visual centrepiece: Miffy appears on a crescent moon amid stars. The launch report says the disc is made in-house and that Miffy, the moon and the stars use Super-LumiNova.

The technical listing specifies 50 metres of water resistance, plus a stainless-steel screw-down crown and caseback.
Movement and moonphase function
Inside is a modified Sellita SW288-1 automatic movement. The reported specifications are a 38-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (vph). For this edition, the date function was removed while the moonphase quick-set remains, allowing the moonphase to be adjusted without relying solely on normal timekeeping.

Straps, edition size and launch price
The watch was announced with two straps: white FKM rubber with a pin buckle, and a red elastic “Paratrooper” strap. The launch coverage does not state the strap width or confirm compatibility with third-party replacements, so check the particular watch’s dimensions and attachment before ordering another band.
Monochrome Watches reported a limited run of 100 pieces and a launch price of EUR 3,950 excluding VAT. Those are historical launch terms from June 30, 2025, not confirmation of current stock, a current retail offer or today’s resale value. De Rijke & Co’s official homepage describes the company as a Dutch mechanical-watch maker whose watches pass through a prototype stage and whose parts are largely designed, manufactured, finished and assembled in its Netherlands atelier; that is the company’s own description.
