The Depancel Allure Black Tangerine is a 43 mm automatic chronograph announced as a numbered limited edition of 50 pieces. Its black, layered dial and orange tachymeter and chronograph details give it a dashboard-inspired look, while an ETA 7753 movement provides a 30-minute counter, 12-hour counter and quick-set date. The specifications and price below are launch information reported on November 25, 2025—not confirmation of current stock or pricing.

What makes the Black Tangerine different?

Depancel’s Allure is its chronograph line. In its introduction, Monochrome Watches frames the brand around classic motoring and describes the Allure Black Tangerine as a black-and-orange take on the existing automatic Allure design, with a dial layout associated with its movement. The name Depancel is presented there as a contraction of Delage, Panhard and Facel Vega; that is the article’s account of the brand’s naming, rather than independently verified corporate history. Monochrome Watches, November 25, 2025.

The black PVD dial has a multi-layered, stepped appearance. Orange accents pick out the central chronograph-seconds hand and the 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock. Small seconds sit at 9, and the date is at 6. The dashboard-style hands and hour markers are reported to use Super-LumiNova C1, which emits green light.

A fixed aluminium bezel carries an orange tachymeter scale. The case is 316L stainless steel, with brushed surfaces and polished accents; a box-shaped sapphire crystal has internal anti-reflective coating. The crown screws down, and a transparent sapphire caseback reveals the movement and its decorated oscillating weight.

Case size and fit

The launch report gives the watch a 43 mm diameter, 48.5 mm lug-to-lug span and 15 mm thickness, or 14.2 mm excluding the crystal. Lug width is 22 mm. Those measurements make the lug-to-lug span and thickness useful considerations alongside diameter when judging fit; wrist comfort cannot be established from specifications alone.

  • Diameter: 43 mm
  • Lug-to-lug: 48.5 mm
  • Thickness: 15 mm, or 14.2 mm without the crystal
  • Lug width: 22 mm
  • Water resistance: 100 m, as reported at launch

ETA 7753 movement and chronograph functions

The watch is powered by an ETA 7753 automatic, cam-operated chronograph. Monochrome reports a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and a 54-hour power reserve. The movement drives central hours, minutes and chronograph seconds, along with small seconds, a 30-minute chronograph counter, a 12-hour counter and a quick-set date.

The movement is visible through the sapphire caseback. The launch report identifies a decorated oscillating weight but does not provide an accuracy rating or test results for this model.

Bracelet and strap options

The reported standard pairing is a polished-and-brushed stainless-steel H-link bracelet. The launch article also describes an additional handcrafted French bull-leather strap, offered with either a pin buckle or deployant clasp; it reports a €30 surcharge for the deployant option. Confirm the included configuration, clasp choice and any current surcharge with the seller, since launch details do not establish today’s offering.

Edition, launch price and current availability

Monochrome’s November 25, 2025 introduction describes the Black Tangerine as a numbered edition of 50 and says it would not be reproduced. The same report lists a launch price of €2,400 or US$2,400. These are dated launch claims, not a current price or proof that any pieces remain available.

Depancel’s homepage, accessed October 8, 2026, showed other collections and watch listings but did not visibly list the Black Tangerine. That page does not establish whether the model is sold out, discontinued, or available through another channel. Check directly with Depancel or an authorized seller for present stock and terms. The homepage advertises free worldwide shipping for watches, free returns and exchanges within a 30-day withdrawal period, and a five-year warranty covering manufacturing defects; confirm that those terms apply to any specific purchase.
