Farer brought back its monopusher chronograph in 2024 as two watches, the colorful blue-dial Cobb and the darker black-dial Segrave. Both pair a single-button chronograph with an independently adjustable 24-hour GMT hand, but differ in dial layout and movement configuration.
What changed in Farer’s returning monopusher?
The key addition is a 24-hour GMT function that can be adjusted independently. The Cobb and Segrave also share a monopusher chronograph: one pusher controls the chronograph’s start, stop, and reset sequence. Their listed functions include central chronograph seconds, a 30-minute register, date, and small seconds.
That combination gives the watches two distinct jobs: timing an event with the chronograph and tracking another time zone with the GMT hand. The single-button arrangement is the defining interaction; Fratello author Thor Svaboe called its functionality “one of those beguiling complications.”

The practical choice is visual and positional: the Cobb is the brighter option, while the Segrave uses a darker dial and places small seconds at 6 rather than 9. The launch coverage identifies different movement configurations, but does not establish that either variant is objectively superior.

These figures are those reported in Fratello’s June 12, 2024 launch introduction, rather than independently verified current manufacturer specifications. The stated 14.5 mm thickness is worth considering alongside the 41 mm diameter when judging how the watch may wear; wrist fit cannot be inferred from diameter alone.
