Favre Leuba introduced the Chief Tourbillon on March 30, 2025, as its first tourbillon watch. Made in a limited run of 25 pieces, it pairs a three-tier embossed “Hourglass” dial with the hand-wound FL T01 movement, developed with master watchmaker Jean-François Mojon and Chronode.
What makes the Chief Tourbillon distinctive?
The Chief Tourbillon brings a tourbillon complication to Favre Leuba’s Chief collection. Its visual centerpiece is an embossed dial built from triangular motifs arranged across three tiers. Favre Leuba describes the raised surfaces as sunray-brushed and the recessed areas as matte; the layered pattern is made by precision stamping, according to the brand’s official product information and launch release.
The tourbillon sits at six o’clock. The launch materials specify a cage that completes one rotation per minute and measures 14.85 mm. An upper bridge supports the small-seconds subdial, whose hand is flame-blued. These are manufacturer descriptions, not independent assessments of finishing or timekeeping.
How the FL T01 movement is configured
Favre Leuba calls the movement FL T01 and says it is based on Chronode C502. The company credits Mojon and Chronode with the collaboration. Its published specifications describe a manual-winding movement with a 60-hour power reserve, a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), and 23 jewels. The brand also lists Geneva stripes, anthracite finishing, blue screws and a branded ratchet wheel.

Case, water resistance and included straps
The launch specification lists a 41 mm stainless-steel case, 11.45 mm thick, and 10 ATM water resistance. Favre Leuba also describes a see-through caseback. The case size and water-resistance figure are published specifications, not independently verified test results.

The watch is specified with an integrated brushed-and-polished steel bracelet featuring double links and a folding clasp, plus a black rubber strap with a Favre Leuba pin buckle. The product information gives a 22 mm lug width and describes the bracelet and strap as interchangeable. That dimension alone does not establish compatibility with every generic replacement strap.
Price, edition and availability
At launch, Favre Leuba stated a price of CHF 24,800 and a limited edition of 25 pieces. The official product page identifies reference 00.20103.150.06.200 and displays CHF 24,800 alongside regional amounts including USD 33,000. It also shows pre-booking and delivery in May 2026. Those are changeable page details, rather than confirmation of current stock or delivery; check the official product page for its latest listing before making a purchase decision.

Favre Leuba’s launch release presents the Chief Tourbillon as the brand’s first tourbillon and describes its work with Jean-François Mojon, founder and owner of Chronode. The movement is identified as FL T01, based on Chronode C502. This makes the collaboration central to the watch’s mechanical identity, while the embossed dial gives it a distinct visual focus within the Chief line.
