Monochrome Watches reported a starting price of CHF 3,450 on a strap when the model was introduced in 2020. That is a historical launch price, not a verified current price.
How to read the Raider Harpoon’s display
The dial separates the two main time readings. The central minute hand works conventionally; the rotating peripheral indicator shows the current hour. A small central running pointer makes the movement’s operation visible. Favre-Leuba’s Raider Harpoon manual explains the minute hand, running disc and edge-mounted hour indicator.
The arrangement puts the minutes—the more immediately relevant reading for timing a dive—at the center and moves the hour reading to the perimeter. Monochrome Watches described the display as intriguing at first and handy once understood; that is the publication’s assessment, not a claim of personal testing here.
What the 42mm model offers
The Raider Harpoon 42mm is a smaller version of the original 46mm Raider Harpoon. In its June 2, 2020 review, Monochrome Watches described an angular, barrel-shaped case with a circular opening, a two-tone unidirectional bezel and two crowns. One crown serves a manual helium relief valve.

How the 42mm differs from the 46mm Raider Harpoon
The documented comparison is straightforward: the 42mm version has a 42mm case and a 300m rating, while the original 46mm version measures 46mm and was rated to 500m. Monochrome’s review says the smaller model’s rating was reduced to accommodate the mechanism in the more compact case. The available model-specific evidence does not establish other differences between the two versions.

Launch price and present-day availability
Monochrome Watches gave the Raider Harpoon 42mm a starting price of CHF 3,450 on a strap in 2020. This is not a current list price or an estimate of what a pre-owned example should cost. Favre-Leuba’s current collection index features the Harpoon Revival, but does not establish whether the older Raider Harpoon 42mm is still available new or what it costs now.
For a current offer, check the exact reference and configuration, condition, seller, warranty and service support, and confirm the live price directly. The 2020 review describes original strap and bracelet options but does not establish strap width or compatibility for replacement and aftermarket straps.

Don’t confuse it with the Harpoon Revival
Favre-Leuba announced the Harpoon Revival on April 14, 2026. It is a separate, smaller 36.8mm automatic model with the FLD04 caliber, based on La Joux-Perret’s G100, a 68-hour power reserve and a stated price of CHF 1,800. Those specifications and that price belong to the Revival, not the Raider Harpoon 42mm. The brand’s announcement describes the newer watch.
