The Fears Arnos Pewter Blue is a rectangular automatic watch with a curved stainless-steel case, a blue circular center dial and a rhodium-finished hobnail-pattern surround. Introduced on March 28, 2025, it was the first model in Fears’ Arnos family, joining the brand’s Redcliff and Brunswick collections.
What is the Fears Arnos Pewter Blue?
Reference BS422.600.116 draws on rectangular Fears watches from the 1920s and 1930s. The name Arnos refers to Arnos Vale in Bristol, near the company’s headquarters. Fears described the Arnos as a permanent collection. Managing director Nicholas Bowman-Scargill said the new family gives the brand “a new canvas with which we can express the elegance of the Fears design language.” (Fratello Watches; James Porter & Son)
How is the case shaped and sized?
The hand-finished stainless-steel case measures 33.5 mm long by 22.6 mm wide, 8.4 mm thick, with a 40 mm lug-to-lug measurement, according to launch specifications. Width and length are more useful terms than “diameter” for this rectangular case. Its slight curve is designed to follow the wrist.
The top is polished while the sides are brushed, and the lugs are drilled. A curved sapphire crystal has anti-reflective coating. The crown is push-pull. The result is a watch with a distinctly rectangular outline rather than the circular case shape typical of many dress watches. (Fratello Watches; Monochrome Watches)

What does the dial look like?
The dial combines a circular blue center with a rectangular frame. The galvanic-blue disc has concentric texture and sits inside a Roman-numeral chapter ring with a railroad minute track. Above and below that circular section, a CNC-machined hobnail pattern fills the remaining dial area; it is rhodium coated.
Fears’ pipette-style hands are described as bevelled and rhodium plated. The layered layout, contrasting textures and Roman numerals give the watch much of its visual character. (Fratello Watches; Monochrome Watches)

What movement does it use, and what functions are displayed?
The Arnos Pewter Blue uses an automatic Sellita SW1000-1b movement, reported in top grade. Launch coverage lists 18 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and a stated power reserve of 46 hours. A custom Fears rotor is visible through the solid case back only if the back is removed; the case back itself is solid.
Although the movement has a central-seconds function, this model does not display seconds. Its dial shows hours and minutes only. (Fratello Watches; Monochrome Watches)

What straps are included?
Launch coverage says the watch comes with two 20 mm straps: taupe Barenia leather with a Fears pin buckle, and dark-blue rubber by Delugs. The rubber strap was described as cut-to-size. Details of the clasp and rubber-strap adjustment vary between published descriptions, so check the current seller or manufacturer specification if those details matter to you. Is it suitable for water?
Its stated water resistance is 30 metres, or 3 ATM. That is a specification, not a guarantee that swimming or any other particular water activity is appropriate. Confirm the manufacturer’s current guidance before exposing the watch to water.
