It was sold through a one-week preorder window in 2023; the window has closed, and the launch coverage does not establish that the edition is available now.
What makes the M-3 “Nori” distinctive?
Fratello described the Nori as its third project with Japanese watchmaker Minase and a follow-up to the purple-dial M-3 “Very Peri.” Its defining feature is the green dial, which is hand-painted with a brushed pattern. Applied luminous hour markers add contrast, while the orange tip of the seconds hand is a nod to Fratello’s Dutch identity. These details and the specifications below come from Fratello’s September 20, 2023 launch coverage.
Why the name “Nori”?
According to Fratello, the name took shape after the team visited the Japan Museum SieboldHuis in Leiden, where director Kris Schiermeier discussed green and its meaning in Japanese culture. Later, while eating temaki in The Hague, the team was inspired by the toasted seaweed wrapping the hand-held roll: nori.

How the watch wears and what the rating means
The 39mm case is 46mm from lug to lug and 10.5mm thick, dimensions that describe the watch more fully than diameter alone. The case is tonneau-shaped rather than a conventional round profile, and its polished surfaces give the steel a prominent finish. Individual wrist fit will depend on wrist shape and preference; the published measurements are not a substitute for trying it on.

Release format, launch price and availability
Fratello called the Nori “not a limited edition but an exclusive one.” The distinction was that orders were accepted for a defined period rather than the watch being presented as a numbered limited run. Fratello’s September 2023 launch article set the Fratello Shop preorder window from 4 p.m. CEST on September 27 through 4 p.m. CEST on October 4, 2023, and described the watch as available worldwide during that original release.

The launch price was €2,470 before tax. Fratello’s article also listed €2,989 including 21% Dutch VAT, destination-adjusted VAT for other EU buyers, and VAT removal for buyers outside the EU. These are historical 2023 launch terms, not current pricing. Fratello expected production to begin after the order window and first deliveries three to four months later; those expectations describe the original release, not present stock. No current listing for the exact Nori edition is established here.
Replacement strap considerations
The original strap is 20mm at the lugs and narrows to 16mm at the buckle. A generic 20mm watch strap may fit the lug width, but check its thickness, attachment style, taper and buckle compatibility before buying. A replacement is not the original olive-green Fratello Signature nubuck strap, and a strap’s lug width alone does not guarantee compatibility.

How it fits into Minase’s later M-3 and Mastercraft lines
Fratello’s 2024 coverage of the later white-dial M-3 “Shiro” described the same 39 × 10.5mm case dimensions, 100-meter water resistance and a Sellita movement without a date. That makes the Shiro a useful design-family comparison, although its current price and availability are not established here.
In an August 24, 2026 article, Fratello introduced the Minase Mastercraft J3 as inspired by the M-3. It is a different watch rather than a direct Nori substitute: the cited article specifies a 37mm steel case, 9.9mm thickness and 5 ATM water resistance. Fratello reported the J3’s launch price and availability as of that article’s publication.
