What is the green Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Glassbox?
Reference CBS5011.FC6566 is the teal-green version of TAG Heuer’s Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Glassbox. Monochrome Watches and Fratello Watches covered its introduction on January 29 and 31, 2024, respectively. It belongs to the same tourbillon chronograph family as the earlier blue version; Monochrome notes that the green dial omits the silver rings around the counters found on that initial blue model. Case, crystal and water resistance
The stainless-steel case measures 42 mm across, 14.33 mm thick and 48.6 mm from lug to lug. Its finish alternates brushed and polished surfaces, with angular lugs and piston-style chronograph pushers. A domed, curved sapphire Glassbox crystal extends over the dial, while a sapphire caseback reveals the movement. Reported water resistance is 100 m. TH20-09 movement and functions
Inside is TAG Heuer calibre TH20-09, an evolution of the Heuer 02T. It combines an automatic, bidirectionally wound movement with a column-wheel chronograph and a one-minute tourbillon. The reported specifications are 28,800 vibrations per hour, a 65-hour power reserve and COSC-certified chronometer status. The movement and performance figures are reported by Monochrome Watches; Fratello also reports the 65-hour reserve and COSC certification in its January 2024 coverage.

Strap and clasp

Launch coverage reported a price of CHF 23,500. Fratello additionally listed launch prices of €23,700 and US$24,050. Monochrome said the watch was expected to become available from May 2024 and described it as a permanent-collection model.
