What is the GRØNE Oldenzaal Moment Meter?
GRØNE introduced the Moment Meter as a new design direction for the brand: a manual-winding chronograph drawing on the Grönefeld brothers’ design language while taking a bolder, more expressive approach. GRØNE says the name is about capturing significant spur-of-the-moment experiences, from a first kiss to a football final’s free kick—or the shock of a repair bill after a vintage Porsche incident. GRØNE’s product page uses the phrase “The Grönefeld Brothers move into an all-new design direction with the boldly expressive Moment Meter – their new manual winding chronograph for GRØNE.”
“Accessible” is relative here. The launch price was €3,490 excluding VAT, tariffs and shipping, positioning it below the Grönefeld atelier’s offerings rather than making it an inexpensive watch. Monochrome describes GRØNE as an effort to bring some of the brothers’ style and spirit to a more accessible price range.
Design and specifications
The defining feature is the layered salmon-colored dial: a sunburst finish with circular graining, polished steel applied indices and raised structures around the subsidiary dials. Specialist launch coverage also identifies a blue pulsometer track, orange chronograph hands and a 1/5-second scale. A blue sailcloth strap complements the dial. On the movement side, an engraving reading “Home sweet home” pays tribute to Oldenzaal and the brothers’ heritage.

GRØNE announced that orders would open on 3 December 2025 at 3:00 PM Amsterdam time, with a 300-piece limit and deliveries beginning in January 2026. The launch price was €3,490, excluding VAT, tariffs and shipping. GRØNE’s page currently says “SOLD OUT”; stock status can change, so check the official product page for the latest information. The brand says it ships worldwide to most major destinations, while tax and duty treatment varies by region; US tariffs and duties are excluded.

There is also a secondary-market data point, but it is not a sale result or a dependable valuation. A Moment Meter entry in the Phillips 2026 Geneva Sessions catalogue showed a CHF 3,000–6,000 estimate and a CHF 6,500 current bid at the time of catalogue capture. Auction estimates and live bids can change, and neither figure establishes the final result or the watch’s broader market value.
