The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Perpetual Calendar puts a perpetual calendar into the brand’s integrated-steel Streamliner design without filling the dial with subdials. A small central hand indicates the month, the date appears in an aperture, and the leap-year display is on the movement side. The current 6812-1201 listing pairs that layout with a 42.3 mm steel case, 12 ATM water resistance and a manually wound HMC 812 movement with a 168-hour power reserve.
How the Streamliner Perpetual Calendar displays the calendar
The dial keeps the calendar indications restrained rather than assigning each one its own subdial. The date appears in an aperture and changes instantaneously; a small hand at the center points to the hour markers to indicate the month. The leap-year indicator is on the movement side, visible through the caseback, while a power-reserve display appears on the dial. The general design also includes central seconds.
H. Moser’s minimalist calendar approach predates the Streamliner: the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry Foundation identifies the earlier Perpetual 1 with 2005, and dates this Streamliner iteration to 2021. The Streamliner brings that approach into an integrated-bracelet steel watch. The Foundation’s profile describes the collection’s calendar layout and movement.
What makes it a perpetual calendar
According to H. Moser & Cie.’s operating manual for reference 6812-1200, the calendar follows the Gregorian calendar and accounts for February’s leap day as well as months with 30 or 31 days. This is why the watch can show the date without requiring the wearer to correct it at every short month, provided it is correctly set and running.

“The date and month can be set forwards or backwards at any time, without risk to the movement,” the manufacturer says on the current 6812-1201 product page. That flexibility does not remove the need to reset a watch that has stopped for a long time: the manual says to check the year after the last leap year and adjust it if necessary. The year/leap-year display is read from the movement side.

6812-1201 and the launch-era 6812-1200
The references should not be treated as the same dial version. The current 6812-1201 is the Smoked Salmon Griffé listing; the 6812-1200 is the earlier reference covered by a 2021 hands-on review and by the located operating manual. Time and Watches published live photographs after spending time with the 6812-1200, describing its uncluttered dial, movement finishing and the bracelet’s mix of brushed and polished surfaces. Those are the reviewer’s observations, not a hands-on assessment of the 6812-1201.

The manual located for this introduction covers reference 6812-1200. Use the instructions for the exact reference in hand rather than assuming every variant has identical external details or setting steps. The manual describes a screw-in crown with winding and date-setting positions, plus a double-pull time-setting mechanism. Date setting does not stop the movement. If the watch has stopped, the manual recommends synchronizing the time on the 24-hour day before setting the date and year.
