Introduced in 2023, it was announced with a modified automatic Chronode movement and a maker-stated moon-phase error of one day every 11.6 years. Its original price and delivery date are historical; production problems were reported in 2025, and current availability is not established.
What makes the HN01’s moon phase different?
The display pairs an off-center dial with a sapphire moon-phase disc. Havid Nagan says the disc is designed without the usual visible connecting arms, helping the moon image appear to float above the dial. The maker describes the image as a composite made from astrophotography; founder Aren J Bazerkanian says its depiction and coloring are licensed specifically for Havid Nagan watches. The journal also describes adding a mobile wheel to increase the gearing ratio. Havid Nagan states that the resulting moon-phase display is designed to accumulate an error of one day every 11.6 years. That is the maker’s specification, not an independently verified accuracy test.

The launch report gives no strap dimensions or replacement-strap compatibility information. It also identifies the two dial colors but does not report different specifications or prices for them. Monochrome Watches’ 2023 launch report is the source for the case, movement and launch details.
Original price and delivery terms
Monochrome Watches reported a USD 15,000 price, with a 50% deposit and delivery projected by the end of Q3 2024. Those were launch-era terms, not confirmation of a current offer or completed deliveries.

Can you buy the HN01 now?
Current availability is not established by the available reporting. In February 2025, Monochrome Watches said HN01 production had been problematic and quoted founder Aren Bazerkanian discussing a manufacturing issue. That report does not say whether orders were ultimately fulfilled or whether the watch remains for sale. The launch’s Q3 2024 delivery target should therefore not be treated as evidence of present stock or delivery timing.
