The Isotope HydriumX “The Judge” is a limited-edition dive watch with a black dial, white luminous Arabic numerals and red hands and bezel. Isotope says it made 100 individually numbered examples. Its official archive currently lists the model as sold out; the £700 price reported at launch in 2022 is historical, not a current asking price.
What is the Isotope HydriumX “The Judge”?
“The Judge” is a limited-edition version of Isotope’s HydriumX dive watch. Isotope describes the black, white and red color scheme as drawing on traditional judges’ dress colors. Its product page frames the theme with the line, “Time is our worst enemy, are you ready to do it justice?” That is brand copy, not a quotation from a named judge or watchmaker.
The case is micro-blasted stainless steel, with a screw-down crown, red bezel insert and double-domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The official product page also asks, “Are you ready to let ‘The Judge’ rule on yours?”

What makes the design distinctive?
The central design choice is the contrast: a black dial and white luminous Arabic numerals are paired with red hands and a red bezel. That three-color scheme carries the judges’ attire reference Isotope gives for the model. The red is not limited to a small dial detail; it is also used on the bezel insert, making the watch’s theme immediately legible.
The 40mm diameter and 48mm lug-to-lug measurement give two useful dimensions for judging fit. The stated height is 12.9mm for the case, rising to 14.9mm when the domed crystal is included. Those figures describe the watch’s dimensions; they do not establish how it will wear on a particular wrist.

How much did it cost, and can you buy one now?
Fratello’s introduction by Nacho Conde Garzón, published September 24, 2022, reported a launch price of £700 (about €800). That is a dated launch-era figure, not a confirmed current price or resale valuation. Isotope’s official archive currently marks HydriumX “The Judge” as sold out, as checked October 8, 2026. The archive status does not establish whether a pre-owned example is available elsewhere or what one might cost.

The watch has 22mm lugs and was supplied with a 22mm quick-release FKM strap. Width alone does not guarantee that a third-party strap will fit or suit the watch. Before buying a replacement, check its lug fit, buckle dimensions, strap length and quick-release mechanism.
