The collection comes in 41 mm and 43 mm cases, with steel-bracelet and rubber-strap configurations depending on the reference. Here is what Longines specifies—and what to check on the exact model before buying.
What the HydroConquest GMT adds
The GMT hand lets the wearer track another time zone alongside the local time, while the date display adds a practical everyday function. The rotating bezel is unidirectional, a familiar feature on dive-style watches; paired with the GMT display, it gives the watch two distinct timing interfaces. Longines rates the collection water-resistant to 30 bar (300 m), but that is the manufacturer’s specification, not an independent assessment of suitability for a particular dive or activity.

Longines describes an automatic movement with a silicon balance-spring, resistance to magnetic fields, and up to 72 hours of power reserve. The official 41 mm product page specifies a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour. Longines also lists a screw-in crown and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.
How the collection developed
Longines says the 41 mm HydroConquest GMT models launched in 2023; the Swatch Group archive dates its launch announcement to 11 August 2023. Longines expanded the GMT collection with 43 mm cases in 2024. These are collection launch dates, not dates for every color or reference.

41 mm and 43 mm: what differs
The established distinction in the official material is case diameter. The sources do not provide a controlled wear comparison or enough full dimensions to predict wrist fit from diameter alone, so try the exact case if fit is a deciding factor. The 41 mm US references below illustrate how strap configuration and displayed price can differ even when dial color is the same.
| Reference | Case | Configuration described by Longines | US displayed price |
|---|---|---|---|
| L3.790.4.96.9 | 41 mm | Sunray blue dial, ceramic bezel, rubber strap with double-security folding clasp and micro-adjustment system | $3,150, displayed on Longines US and accessed 2026-10-08 |
| L3.790.4.96.6 | 41 mm | Sunray blue dial, stainless-steel bracelet with double-security folding clasp and micro-adjustment | $3,350, displayed on Longines US and accessed 2026-10-08 |
| L3.890.4.96.6 | 43 mm | Blue dial and steel bracelet; Longines lists GMT/date, automatic movement, up to 72 hours of reserve, and 300 m water resistance | Not stated on the cited Longines US listing |
The two prices are dated examples for specific 41 mm references, not a market-wide survey or a guarantee of today’s price. Check Longines’ current listing for your region and compare the same reference and configuration. The available official descriptions also show that dial colors and strap or bracelet options vary; they do not establish that straps fit interchangeably across cases or references.

What to confirm before buying
- Exact reference and case size: confirm whether the listing is for the 41 mm or 43 mm model you want.
- Strap or bracelet: check whether the reference comes on rubber or steel, and verify compatibility with that exact case before buying a replacement strap.
- Dial and bezel configuration: Longines lists multiple colors and configurations; availability can change by market and over time.
- Current price and seller: confirm the exact reference, seller, price, and availability at checkout rather than relying on an older displayed price.
- Fit and performance: the official sources cited here do not establish thickness, lug-to-lug length, independent accuracy, comfort, or long-term durability. Seek those details or try the watch on if they matter to your decision.
