Each edition is limited to 400 pieces, and all three share the same 42 mm steel case and automatic movement. Their differences are visual: each has its own color pairing, rotor and patterned straps, while the time appears on a rotating cylinder at the side of the watch.
What is the M.A.D.1S “Grow Your Dreams”?
“Grow Your Dreams” is Ilori’s first watch collaboration with MB&F M.A.D.Editions, according to Yinka Ilori Studio’s project account. Its nature-and-growth theme is expressed through a tree-motif rotor, vivid colored details and leaf-patterned straps rather than through a change to the underlying timekeeping specifications.
The watch’s time display is lateral: a rotating cylinder shows the hours at the side of the case. That unusual presentation gives the dial area a sculptural, mechanical character and sets the watch apart from a conventional central-hand layout.
Sun, Nature and Water: what changes between editions?
MB&F names three editions, each limited to 400 pieces. The differences are in their palette and corresponding rotor color; MB&F lists the same case and movement specifications for all three.

| Edition | Rotor | Included colored straps |
|---|---|---|
| Sun | Yellow | Yellow and green |
| Nature | Green | Purple and red |
| Water | Blue | Dark blue and light blue |
Each edition also comes with an interchangeable white strap, offering a quieter alternative to its brighter color set. The edition names and strap colors suggest the themes; the product information does not identify any mechanical distinction between them.
How the design brings Ilori’s theme to the watch
Ilori’s project account describes a rotor with a tree motif, colored anodization and Super-LumiNova accents. A HyCeram bezel inlay adds another colored surface, while a wave-textured baseplate and leaf-patterned straps extend the natural imagery across the watch.

These details make the collaboration legible from several angles: the rotor is visible through the watch, the bezel carries a contrasting accent, and the strap pattern continues the theme when the watch is on the wrist. The result is deliberately expressive rather than a conventional, restrained dress-watch treatment.
