Nivada Grenchen positions the Aquamar as a modern revival within its Antarctic dive-watch family. Hodinkee describes the original Aquamar as a vintage skin diver—a generally more casual, wearable style of dive watch—and frames the new watch as a continuation of that line. That is useful context, but it does not independently establish the exact release history or specifications of the historical Aquamar. The modern watch’s heritage connection is the manufacturer’s framing.
Monochrome Watches reported the model’s introduction in 2025 and said it would be available from June 19 of that year. The new Aquamar combines a compact case with conventional dive-watch credentials, while its roulette-style luminous calendar disc gives the dial a distinctive detail.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not results from independent testing. No comparative accuracy, comfort, bezel-operation or water-resistance test is established for the Aquamar variants.
The luminous calendar is not a standard date window
Nivada Grenchen describes the movement as a “P024 No Date version,” while its product copy also describes a roulette-style date disc that changes beneath a luminous display. Rather than an ordinary date window, the calendar treatment is an intentional visual feature of the dial. The maker’s wording is unusual, so it is safest to describe the mechanism as the manufacturer does instead of treating “No Date” as proof that the watch has no calendar indication.

Nivada Grenchen’s surfaced product pages include Blue and Black Aquamar versions, and an official Grey page also appeared in its listings. The manufacturer presents several strap or bracelet choices, including leather, rubber Tropic, NATO and bracelet styles. The available listings do not establish that every strap option can be paired with every dial color.
The listed 20 × 16 mm strap dimension is useful when considering replacement straps, but it does not by itself guarantee that an aftermarket strap or bracelet will fit cleanly. Confirm the attachment dimensions and end-link compatibility for the exact case and strap style.

Monochrome Watches reported historical launch prices of CHF 890 or EUR 815, with availability beginning June 19, 2025. Those figures describe the launch coverage, not a universal current price.
