The Armin Strom × Revolution Dual Time GMT Resonance “Tremblage” is a five-piece collaboration announced on 2 September 2025. It pairs two time displays and two linked regulating systems with individually hand-engraved 18K yellow-gold dials. The watch has a 39 mm stainless-steel case; its current official product listing shows $138,000 and “Out of stock.”
What makes the Tremblage different?
The watch brings together two ideas central to Armin Strom’s Dual Time GMT Resonance line: independently set dual-time displays and two regulating systems designed to work in resonance. Revolution’s contribution is reflected in the collaboration’s distinctive dial treatment: both solid-gold dials are hand engraved using the tremblage technique.
Armin Strom announced the collaboration on 2 September 2025 as a limited edition of five pieces. The brand’s announcement describes the model as a union of resonance technology, dual time and artisanal finishing.
How the dual-time resonance mechanism works
Each display has its own hours, minutes and day/night indication, and each is driven by a separate regulating system. According to Armin Strom’s explanation of the patented clutch, the clutch spring connects the studs of two hairsprings arranged in opposing directions. The brand says this coupling helps the systems return to synchronicity after a disturbance such as a shock.

That is the maker’s account of the mechanism, not an independently established accuracy or shock-recovery result. The watch’s two balances are also part of its visible design: Claude Greisler, Armin Strom co-owner and master watchmaker, told Revolution, “The entire top of the watch is all about the balances beating together and the expansion of the clutch connecting them. It is, to me, kinetic art.”
What tremblage engraving looks like
Tremblage creates a finely textured surface through many small cuts in metal. Armin Strom defines it as a micro-etched pattern that gives the surface an optical impression of trembling. Revolution’s account of the collaboration describes engraver Juliane Gfeller making thousands of tiny, overlapping incisions by hand with a burin.

Gfeller is identified by Revolution as a master watchmaker and engraver who had worked with Armin Strom’s founder and now works on the brand’s complicated watches. Because the engraving is done by hand, each dial’s pattern is individual rather than a repeated machine-applied texture. Here the treatment is applied to two solid 18K yellow-gold dials.

The case, display, dial, strap and buckle details are from the official product page. The available official press-release excerpt identifies caliber ARF22, a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour and a 42-hour power reserve. Monochrome describes the movement as manually wound and reports 231 parts and 40 jewels.

Armin Strom’s 2 September 2025 press release and Revolution’s collaboration article give a price of CHF 100,000 excluding taxes. The official product page, checked on 8 October 2026, displays $138,000 and marks the watch “Out of stock.” These are different currencies and page contexts; neither figure should be treated as a conversion of the other. The Tremblage belongs to Armin Strom’s wider resonance collection. Its most defining combination is a compact 39 mm steel case, twin independently indicated times, paired resonance-linked regulators and two individually engraved gold dials.
