The OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Titanium Ultra-Light is a 41 mm, manually wound watch in Gamma Titanium, identified in the specialist report as reference 220.92.41.21.03.002. Its blue-and-yellow design is associated with pole vaulter Armand “Mondo” Duplantis. Monochrome Watches reported a worn weight of 55 g on the fabric strap and a 72-hour power reserve; those figures and the specifications below are reported details, not independent test results. Monochrome Watches’ 2024 report is the source for the exact-reference details.

What is the Aqua Terra Titanium Ultra-Light?

It is a titanium version of the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M, rather than the stainless-steel Duplantis-inspired Aqua Terra that OMEGA also introduced in 2024. The exact reference covered here is 220.92.41.21.03.002. Monochrome Watches identified it as the Aqua Terra 150M Titanium Ultra-Light in its 7 August 2024 report. OMEGA’s press-room index lists Aqua Terra 150M as a Seamaster collection category, but the retrieved index does not confirm specifications for this reference. OMEGA press room

The “150M” in the name corresponds to the reported water-resistance rating of 150 metres. That is a specification relayed by Monochrome, not a depth test conducted for this article.

How the lightweight design is put together

The reported 55 g worn weight is the standout practical detail, but it applies specifically to the watch on its fabric strap. The report attributes the lightweight construction to the Gamma Titanium case and to the titanium mainplate and bridges in Calibre 8928. It does not provide a comparative weight for another Aqua Terra, so the figure should not be read as a measured difference against the steel model.

The movement is manually wound, not automatic. Its reported twin barrels deliver a 72-hour power reserve. For a wearer, that means the watch needs winding by hand and can run for up to three days when fully wound, according to the stated reserve; the source does not describe testing conditions.

Blue-and-yellow dial details

The dial is described as blue anodized titanium with horizontal grooves. Monochrome reports blackened hour and minute hands and applied indices with Super-LumiNova, plus yellow accents on the minute scale. The central seconds hand is cylindrical, varnished yellow and tipped in white. The report links that shape to Duplantis’s pole vaulting, making the sporting reference part of the watch’s visual design rather than a change to its timekeeping function.

The yellow nylon-fabric strap, finished with blue rubber end-links, carries the color scheme beyond the dial. The 55 g figure reported for the watch is for this strap configuration.

How it differs from the 2024 steel Duplantis Aqua Terra

These are related designs, not interchangeable names for one watch. OMEGA’s official page describes the 2024 Duplantis-inspired model as a 41 mm stainless-steel Aqua Terra with an integrated blue rubber strap and yellow stitching. The titanium Ultra-Light in Monochrome’s exact-reference report instead has a Gamma Titanium case and a yellow nylon strap with blue rubber end-links. OMEGA’s page on the steel Duplantis model

The retrieved official material for the steel watch does not establish its movement, weight or price, so those values are not compared here.

Not the titanium Aqua Terra Worldtimer

OMEGA’s titanium Aqua Terra Worldtimer is a separate model, not another name for this 41 mm Ultra-Light. The official product page describes a 43 mm titanium watch with a world-time dial and Calibre 8938. Its extra time-zone display and different movement distinguish it from the manually wound Calibre 8928 Ultra-Light. OMEGA Aqua Terra Worldtimer Titanium
