The watch’s anniversary purpose and award context are set out in Swatch Group’s announcement. OMEGA’s launch video, published October 7, 2020, also frames it as a tribute to the award’s 50th anniversary.
What movement does it use?
The watch is powered by OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 3861. Swatch Group names the calibre in its launch announcement, and OMEGA’s product sheet lists the same movement. That sheet is a Hong Kong regional document, so its local product terms should not be assumed to apply in other markets.
