RA-AA0824L is the exact reference for this light-blue Orient Diver Design model. Orient identifies it as a limited edition and lists its launch as September 2026. Those details distinguish it from the 2025 Mako anniversary watch sold in Japan under reference RN-AA0823L.
Orient says the brand’s 75th anniversary was in 2025. Its anniversary collection page describes a Mako anniversary design family featuring a distinctive textured blue dial. That background should not be taken to mean that every anniversary-themed Mako is the same reference or has the same specifications.

What does 20 bar water resistance mean for this watch?
Orient lists water resistance as 20 bar (200 m), but separately qualifies the model with the statement “Not an ISO standard diver’s watch.” The stated depth rating is therefore not evidence that RA-AA0824L is ISO-certified or meets an ISO diver’s-watch standard. Keep both parts of Orient’s specification in view when assessing the watch for water use.
How RA-AA0824L differs from the 2025 Japan-market anniversary Mako
The similar anniversary naming makes the reference number especially important. Orient’s Japan store listed RN-AA0823L as a separate Mako 75th-anniversary edition for the domestic market in 2025, limited to 1,000 pieces there. The listing describes its dial as sky blue with a radial stamped texture. Those edition and dial details belong to RN-AA0823L, not RA-AA0824L.

Those details cannot be inferred from the RN-AA0823L listing, which concerns a different reference and a Japan-market edition.
