Its defining feature is a dual-face display: both sides show the time, while the open-worked reverse also reveals the chronograph. What is the pink-gold Reverso Tribute Chronograph?
The Q389256J is Jaeger-LeCoultre’s 2024 all-pink-gold interpretation of the Reverso Tribute Chronograph. It is distinct from the 2023 Tribute Chronograph editions: the 2024 watch adds a pink-gold dial and pink-gold movement bridges, rather than limiting the metal treatment to the case. Jaeger-LeCoultre announced it on 12 November 2024 as a limited edition of 250 pieces. Jaeger-LeCoultre’s announcement identifies the model and its specifications.
How do the two faces and chronograph work?
The reversible case presents two functional time displays rather than a conventional watch face paired with a blank caseback. Hours and minutes appear on both sides. The reverse is open-worked and also displays the chronograph: a central seconds hand and a retrograde 30-minute counter.
Inside is manually wound Calibre 860, a 300-component movement with a column-wheel chronograph and horizontal clutch. Because the two dials face opposite directions, the movement drives their sets of hands in opposite directions so the time reads clockwise on each side. The movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and has a 52-hour power reserve, according to the manufacturer.

What does the watch look like?
Front dial
The solid pink-gold dial has fine horizontal laser engraving, applied trapezoid indexes and Dauphine hands. A black chemin de fer minute track provides contrast against the warm metal.
Reverse display
The open-worked reverse exposes pink-gold bridges. Black chronograph tracks, blue chronograph hands and blued screws distinguish the timing display from the movement beneath it.

Case size, straps and edition
The 18k pink-gold case measures 49.4 × 29.9 mm and is 11.14 mm thick. The watch is supplied with a tan calf-leather strap designed by Casa Fagliano and a black alligator strap. Jaeger-LeCoultre says both use its Presto quick-release system and an interchangeable buckle. That describes the supplied straps; it does not establish compatibility with unrelated third-party straps.
The edition is limited to 250 pieces. These dimensions and the two-sided display are useful considerations for anyone assessing the watch’s scale and design, but they do not establish how it will fit a particular wrist.

How it fits the Reverso chronograph lineage
Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced the Reverso in 1931 with a swivelling case intended to protect the watch glass during polo. The manufacturer presents the Q389256J as a tribute to the 1996 Reverso Chronograph. Calibre 860 carries that chronograph lineage forward while using the reverse for both a second time display and the exposed chronograph mechanism.
