Limited to 28 pieces, it was reported at launch at CHF 285,000 or SGD 388,000; a Taiwanese reference price published later that year was NTD 8,490,000. Those are historical prices, not a current resale valuation.
What makes the Knights of the Round Table III distinctive?
Introduced in 2018, this is the third instalment in Roger Dubuis’s Arthurian-themed watch series and part of what the manufacturer describes as a second trilogy. Its defining change is artistic: the knights take on a low-poly, faceted appearance rather than the more realistic treatment of earlier editions. Roger Dubuis’s official history places the low-poly model in the series chronology.
Twelve gold figures stand around the dial. Each is cast, engraved and hand-finished, with angular planes that evoke simplified three-dimensional forms. Between them, solid wedge-shaped blue enamel blocks alternate with pink-gold inlay to suggest the Round Table. SJX reported that completing the dial takes approximately 45 hours of work.

Case and caseback details
The 45 mm Excalibur case is made of 18K rose gold and retains the collection’s notched bezel and matching crown. On the back, an engraved pledge is attributed to Merlin in SJX’s account: “Around this table, the bravest knights will gather as equals. They will set forth in search of adventure, righting wrongs, protecting the weak and humbling the proud.” It is a fictional Arthurian inscription, not a verified historical quotation.
