Its dragon-dial artwork and Jeet Kune Do details give the watch its identity; Seiko’s September 2023 release lists a 4R36 automatic movement, 42.5 mm case, 10-bar water resistance, and two included straps.
What makes the SRPK39 a Bruce Lee edition?
Seiko introduced the SRPK39 in 2023 to mark 55 years of Seiko 5 Sports. The company says Lee wore Seiko 5 Sports during his lifetime and describes the watch as an homage to his work as a martial artist, actor, and cultural figure. The model’s design references his own artwork and the martial arts philosophy he developed.
A dragon Lee drew appears on the dial. The bezel’s characters represent the spirit of Jeet Kune Do, and Seiko translates their phrase as “Using no way as way; having no limitation as limitation.” The case back bears the Jeet Kune Do core symbol, which Seiko says is based on yin-yang.
What comes with the Seiko Bruce Lee limited edition?
- Black leather strap: Silver stitching accents the strap, and a dragon design appears on its inside.
- Additional yellow nylon strap: Its color is inspired by Lee’s yellow tracksuit. Seiko says it is included with the watch.
- Special presentation box: The box is designed for the edition and carries Lee’s signature.
- Marked case back: The see-through case back displays the Jeet Kune Do symbol and is marked “Limited Edition” with an individual serial number.
What are the specs of the Seiko SRPK39?

Diameter and thickness are useful points of reference, but they do not establish how the watch will fit a particular wrist. Seiko’s listed water-resistance rating is a specification, not a guarantee of suitability for every water activity.

Seiko announced production of 15,000 pieces, with worldwide availability from October 2023 at Seiko boutiques and selected retail stores. Its European release gave a recommended retail price of €520. Regional launch communications listed CAD 650 in Canada and USD 480 in another market; these are geography-specific historical recommendations, not equivalent or current prices. Seiko noted that specifications and price information were as of the release date and subject to change.

Those launch details do not establish present-day stock or resale value. If considering a listing, confirm that it is specifically the SRPK39 and check the actual watch, condition, both straps, presentation box, serial details, seller reputation, and return terms.
