A Japanese distributor’s 2025 launch announcement listed the black-dial, black-calf configuration at ¥530,200 including tax. It gave an in-store release date of April 26, 2025, followed by an online release from April 28. Vulcain’s specifications apply to the black and white listings cited here; do not assume a separate limited edition has the same rating. How might it fit, and what about the strap?
The 39.7 mm diameter keeps the case relatively restrained for a chronograph, while its 13 mm thickness gives it more presence than a thin dress watch. Case diameter alone cannot determine fit: wrist shape, lug length and strap choice also matter. Vulcain’s cited product listing does not state lug width. The Japanese distributor’s announcement gives a 20 mm lug width for its announced configuration, along with a black calf strap; verify compatibility against the exact watch and strap before ordering replacements.
