Is the Hotei x G-Shock GM-5600 an official Casio release?

What GM-5600 models does Casio document?
Standard GM-5600-1JF
Casio Japan identifies the GM-5600-1JF as a digital 5600-series watch. Its product page lists shock resistance, 20-bar water resistance, a resin band, and about two years of battery life. The case/bezel structure is resin with stainless-steel bezel components; the page also lists two optional replacement bands. These specifications belong to the standard GM-5600-1JF, not to an alleged Hotei collaboration.
Bamford GM-5600BWD-1JR
Casio Japan separately lists the GM-5600BWD-1JR as a Bamford collaboration. Casio’s page states a ¥38,500 tax-inclusive online-store price and a December 2025 release, and describes Bamford design details. It is a different collaboration and does not confirm a Hotei model.

How to check a future Hotei listing
If Casio publishes an official Hotei page, verify the details on that listing rather than assuming they match a standard GM-5600 or another collaboration. Check the exact model code, tax basis for the Japanese price, preorder dates and method, release date, sales territory, stock status, and any collaboration-specific design or packaging details.
