The Swatch Group’s half-year report for the six months to 30 June 2026 records a two-digit percentage increase in Longines turnover. The Heritage line is a different question. Longines keeps extending its historically rooted models, most recently with Conquest Heritage designs in 38 mm and 40 mm, but the public evidence does not show how that collection has sold. So “going from strength to strength” is a fair description of the brand’s 2026 result and an unproven description of the Heritage collection on its own.
What Longines has added to the Heritage line
On 26 June 2025, Longines announced new Conquest Heritage designs in 38 mm and 40 mm. The brand says the additions honour the collection’s pioneering spirit while using contemporary style and modern horological technology. Longines’ announcement also states that the Conquest became the brand’s first trademarked collection more than 70 years ago.

The announcement highlights one signature feature carried forward from the collection’s beginning: an 18K gold medallion that is hand-enamelled. Longines presents the medallion as a constant across the line’s history rather than a new styling element for 2025.
Longines’ own description of the launch reads:
“These newcomers continue the legacy of sporty elegance that has defined Conquest since becoming Longines’ first collection to be trademarked over 70 years ago, while embracing contemporary style and modern horological technology.”

What the 2026 Swatch Group figures measure
The Swatch Group’s Half-Year Report 2026, dated 21 July 2026, covers the six months ended 30 June 2026. Its figures are unaudited interim numbers. The three measures people usually cite sit at different levels, and only one concerns Longines at all.

| Measure | Reported figure | Scope | What it can and cannot tell you |
|---|---|---|---|
| Longines turnover | Two-digit percentage increase (the report passage does not state the exact percentage) | Longines brand only | Shows the brand grew. It does not split growth by collection, so it cannot be attributed to Heritage. |
| Watches & Jewelry segment sales | Up 9.5% at constant exchange rates | Segment-wide; excludes Production | Market context for the group’s watch business. Not a Longines or Heritage figure. |
| Group net sales | Up 8.5% at constant exchange rates | Entire Swatch Group | Group-wide context only. |
The segment and group numbers show that the wider business was expanding in the same period. They do not tell you how much of Longines’ own growth came from Heritage, from its other collections, or from particular regions.
What the evidence does not establish
- No Heritage-specific sales figure. Neither the 2026 half-year report passage nor the June 2025 announcement gives unit sales, revenue or market share for the Heritage line or for Conquest Heritage.
- No causal explanation. No independent consumer survey or analysis links the brand’s result to Heritage designs. Any claim that heritage positioning drove the growth is an inference.
- No collection-level disclosure. Swatch Group reports at brand and segment level. Collection-level performance would have to come from Longines directly, and none was found in the sources reviewed.
A reasonable reading is that heritage-led extensions are one plausible contributor to a strong brand year. Treating them as the proven cause would overstate the evidence.

Comparing the 38 mm and 40 mm Conquest Heritage
The announcement confirms the two case sizes and the historic design cues. It does not publish full technical specifications or current prices, so do not treat any comparison as settled until you have checked Longines’ current product pages for your market. When you do, compare these points:
- Case diameter and wrist fit. A 2 mm difference is modest on paper. Judge it on your wrist, using lug-to-lug length and case thickness, which the announcement does not provide.
- Dial and finish. Confirm which dial colours and finishes are offered in each size. Do not assume both sizes share every variant.
- Reference and medallion. Check that the 18K gold hand-enamelled medallion appears on the reference you are considering.
- Movement and technical specifications. Read these from the product page for the specific reference, not from the family-level announcement.
- Price and availability by region. Prices and stock vary by market and retailer, and the sources reviewed do not give current figures.
How to judge whether the collection is really gaining momentum
- Read the next Swatch Group report for brand-level changes. Confirm whether Longines’ growth rate holds. A brand-level figure is still not a collection figure.
- Look for collection-level disclosure from Longines. Without it, Heritage performance remains unmeasured in public data.
- Check authorised retailer stock for the 38 mm and 40 mm models. Sustained availability or waiting lists are suggestive signals, but they are not sales data.
Until a collection-level figure appears, the most defensible answer is that Longines is going from strength to strength, and that the Heritage line is one of the designs the brand is using to do it.
