What is the Jacob & Co. Gotham City watch?
Introduced on March 14, 2022, Gotham City was the first watch in Jacob & Co.’s multi-year partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC. Its design draws on Batman’s equipment and Bruce Wayne’s identity: the black version is associated with Batman, while the rose-gold version represents Bruce Wayne.

The standout dial is a bat-shaped onyx plate edged in yellow. The crown has a rubber ring, and the two versions have different caseback treatments: Jacob & Co. describes a Batman drawing on the black model and a transparent sapphire caseback on the rose-gold model.
Launch price and the two variants
Jacob & Co. announced a limited edition of 72 watches: 36 in black DLC titanium and 36 in 18K rose gold. Monochrome Watches reported the variant-specific launch prices below.

Jacob & Co.’s announcement independently states that retail began at $220,000; Monochrome specifies that the rose-gold model launched at a $20,000 premium over the black version. Neither figure establishes what a watch costs today. Current inventory, dealer asking prices, and resale values have not been verified.

Both versions use Jacob & Co.’s hand-wound JCFM10 movement. The company describes it as a 382-component calibre with twin flying, sequential, high-speed triple-axis tourbillons. Their rotation times are 24, 48, and 180 seconds, and the stated power reserve is 48 hours. Monochrome’s launch coverage also reports the movement’s principal specifications.
Case size: 45.5 or 46 mm?
Jacob & Co.’s March 14, 2022 announcement gives the case diameter as 45.5 mm. A product specification page on a non-canonical domain lists 46 mm for the rose-gold model. The official figure is the stronger attribution; the small discrepancy should be kept in mind when comparing listings.
