The cited stainless-steel references measure 40 mm across and 12.05 mm thick, and Jaeger-LeCoultre specifies 5 bar water resistance. This is a specifications-led overview, not a wrist-time review: fit, comfort, legibility and pusher feel have not been established here.
What the Master Control Chronograph Calendar does
It brings several functions together: time and seconds, a chronograph with a 30-minute counter, a triple calendar showing day, date and month, a moon-phase display, and a pulsometer. “Triple calendar” here means those three calendar indications; it does not mean a perpetual calendar.
The complication mix makes this more than a conventional two-register chronograph, but it also means the exact dial layout and reference are important when comparing listings. Jaeger-LeCoultre’s collection page says the Master Control line launched in 1992 and takes inspiration from classic 1950s designs: Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control collection.

Jaeger-LeCoultre describes the chronograph as an integrated mechanism with a column wheel and vertical clutch. The Q4138180 product page says its central chronograph-seconds display reads to the nearest quarter second; that is the manufacturer’s description, not an independently verified timing assessment.
How the calendar and moon phase are set
Jaeger-LeCoultre’s product description identifies four separate correctors for adjusting the day, date, month and moon phase. These are distinct from the chronograph controls. Consult the instructions supplied with the specific watch before using the correctors; the product pages establish their purpose but do not provide a complete operating procedure here.

Which reference and dial should you compare?
The official pages document multiple stainless-steel configurations. Their differences are visible enough that a listing should be checked by reference number, rather than identified only as a “blue” or “silver” Master Control Chronograph Calendar.

Jaeger-LeCoultre describes an interchangeable strap system on some pages, but that does not establish universal compatibility across references. Check attachment and fit for the specific watch before buying an additional strap.

What the 1,000 Hour Control claim means
Jaeger-LeCoultre says this model receives its 1,000 Hour Control testing. On the Q4138180 page, the brand says: “This unique program provides internal certification tests that far exceed official chronometry tests.” This is the manufacturer’s account of its own test program, not an independent comparison or evidence of a particular accuracy result.
