No hands-on testing was conducted for this article, so fit impressions below are based on dimensions and attributed reviewer comments.
What the J&Berg B2’s dimensions mean for fit
J&Berg lists the B2 at 38.5 mm in diameter, 45.2 mm lug to lug and 10.4 mm thick. Those are published measurements, not independent measurements. Its 20 mm lug width is useful when checking strap options, and the listed weight is 53 g. The case is Grade 5 titanium, described in the product material with smooth or sand-blasted finishes.
The relatively short lug-to-lug length and 10.4 mm thickness may appeal to someone seeking a compact, low-profile watch; titanium and the listed 53 g weight are relevant if low weight is a priority. Dimensions alone cannot guarantee fit: wrist shape, strap, and personal preference all matter. Oracle of Time also lists the 53 g weight in its 2024 review (Oracle of Time review).
Materials, construction and dial
Titanium case and sapphire crystal
The case and screw-in caseback are Grade 5 titanium. The watch has a flat sapphire crystal with an inner anti-reflective coating. The stated water-resistance rating is 10 ATM / 100 m; that published rating is not a guarantee for a particular activity or for a watch whose condition is unknown.

Two-layer dial and lume
The B2’s two-layer sandwich dial has cutouts in the upper layer, revealing luminous material below. J&Berg and the 2024 launch coverage identify the lume as Super-LumiNova BGW9. The original release used turquoise, copper and dark brown dial centers. The 2025 update added Misty Green and Lake Blue.
Straps vary by release
The original 2024 description specifies a 20 mm gray canvas strap with leather lining and Grade 2 titanium hardware. Later official listings describe handmade German calfskin straps for some variants, so strap material is not uniform across releases. A 20 mm strap is the stated width, but check the relevant listing and strap-end fit before buying a replacement.

Movement and published specifications
The B2 uses the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, which can also be wound manually. J&Berg’s product pages state a 42-hour running time. The 2024 launch article additionally lists 28,800 vibrations per hour and 24 jewels; the 2025 coverage also reports 28,800 vph and a 42-hour reserve.

These dated prices are not directly comparable to a current checkout total: shipping, VAT and other charges were excluded. Fratello’s 2024 writer Thor Svaboe called the design “Scandinavian cool at its best”; that is his assessment, not a measured product characteristic. In 2025, Michael Stockton described the watch as “Insanely good value for a cleanly designed Grade 5 titanium watch,” likewise an attributed opinion rather than a current price comparison.

Who should consider the J&Berg B2?
- Consider it if you want a compact-dimensioned automatic with a titanium case, a distinctive layered dial and a stated 42-hour power reserve.
- Compare carefully if strap material, current price, or immediate availability is decisive; these vary by release or are not consistently shown on the official pages.
- For a wrist-fit comparison, compare the 45.2 mm lug-to-lug and 10.4 mm thickness alongside diameter, rather than judging by the 38.5 mm diameter alone.
For comparisons with other compact titanium watches, use like-for-like dimensions, weight, dial and lume design, movement and stated reserve, water-resistance rating, strap, dated price and current availability.
