What is the KingWear KW18?
The KW18 is a round smartwatch from the mid-2010s. Product listings describe both Bluetooth pairing with a phone and standalone calling through an inserted SIM card. That combination is a central part of its appeal for its era, but a SIM slot alone does not guarantee that the watch will work with a current carrier. Check the supported GSM bands and service availability with the carrier in your country.

The Brazilian product database TudoCelular lists May 2016 as the KW18’s announcement and release date. TheTechHacker’s 2017 article instead describes it as released in summer 2016. TheTechHacker reported a regular price of $70 in 2017 and a temporary $50 Gearbest offer. A KENTFAITH listing displayed $33.99 when accessed on October 8, 2026, but marked the watch out of stock. Reported specifications—and where listings disagree
Listings commonly describe a 1.3-inch round display, Bluetooth 4.0, a MediaTek MT2502-family chipset, GSM calling through a SIM slot, health and activity functions, and TF-card expansion. However, the specification pages conflict on screen technology and resolution, as well as battery capacity. Treat the details as listing claims rather than a single confirmed configuration.

The KW18’s reported feature set combines basic smartwatch utilities with a SIM-based calling option. Bluetooth pairing is described for connecting the watch to a phone, while the SIM slot is presented as a way to make calls without relying on the phone connection. The available sources do not establish which phones, apps or carriers remain compatible today. Confirm the intended setup with the seller before purchase.
Heart-rate and activity features should be treated as basic readouts, not medical measurements. The sources describe the functions but do not establish validated accuracy.
