Krayon’s Anyday puts the current month’s dates and weekdays on a mechanical watch dial: a moving crescent marks the date, color distinguishes weekdays from weekends, and small dots preview the next month. Its hand-wound movement is mechanically elaborate, but the calendar still needs manual correction after months shorter than 31 days.
What does the Krayon Anyday show?
Rather than displaying only a conventional date, Anyday lays out the relationship between dates and weekdays across the month. The dial’s moving crescent points to the current date around the perimeter, while different colors distinguish weekdays from weekends. Four small dots at six o’clock preview the first four days of the following month. Krayon’s technical description also includes a permanent indication of the final four days of the preceding month.
Krayon calls it the first mechanical planner watch to show an entire month and a five-week span at once. That is the maker’s positioning, rather than an independently verified industry-wide “first” claim. The concept is a calendar view on the wrist, not a replacement for a phone agenda with appointments and reminders.
The appeal is easy to understand if you often need to check what day a date falls on. In Wallpaper*’s March 3, 2026 feature, founder Rémi Maillat said he wanted to make it useful to know “the dates for the whole month” on a mechanical watch. The practical value depends on how often you need that overview at a glance; Anyday does not display a schedule of events.

How does the calendar work, and what must the owner adjust?
The calendar advances at midnight through a cam system. Krayon describes a 35-position cycle covering a full month and previewing four days of the next. The system handles the transition from a 31-day month automatically, but it is not a perpetual calendar: months with 28 or 30 days require a quick manual crown correction. Krayon’s official narrative describes five quick annual corrections.
- Wind: In the crown’s first position, wind the movement.
- Correct the date or weekday: In the second position, turn the crown clockwise to advance the date or counterclockwise to set the weekday.
- Set the time: In the third position, the time can be set in either direction.
That adjustment is the key ownership trade-off. The dial offers a broad monthly view, but the wearer must keep it aligned after shorter months rather than expecting the watch to account for every month length on its own.
What is inside the Anyday?
Krayon’s hand-wound calibre C032 has a stated 72-hour power reserve, runs at 3 Hz and contains 46 jewels and 378 components. The movement measures 35.40 mm in diameter and 5.00 mm thick. These are the manufacturer’s published specifications, not independent test results.
The maker describes two cams at the heart of the calendar and three lightweight discs made from sapphire, aluminum and openworked titanium. The hand-decorated discs indicate the day and date. That contrast—an immediately legible display driven by a complex movement—is central to the watch’s character.

Which Anyday editions are available?
Krayon announced the original white-gold edition on March 13, 2025, and the rose-gold edition on February 23, 2026, according to its pressroom. The newer edition retains the same case dimensions and C032 movement, while changing the case metal and dial treatment.

What did Anyday cost at launch?
Fratello Watches reported a launch-era price of CHF 88,000 and maximum annual production of 45 watches in its March 17, 2025 coverage. Those figures describe reporting from the white-gold launch, not a verified current price or confirmation of present production. The later rose-gold announcement does not establish a current price or availability.
Who is the Anyday for?
Anyday is most compelling for someone who values seeing the calendar’s date-and-weekday pattern without reaching for a phone and wants that information presented through mechanical watchmaking. Its limitations are just as clear: it is not an appointments agenda, and the wearer has to make calendar corrections after shorter months. Krayon’s “first” description explains the intended novelty, but does not by itself establish that the watch is more accurate or useful than other calendar mechanisms.
