The Kudoke 3 Nocturne is a 20-piece special edition that brings together a galvanic black dial, a matte sandblasted stainless-steel case and a hand-engraved Flakes finish on the Kaliber 1. It keeps the KUDOKE 3’s distinctive time display and hand-wound movement. The dark dial is also regularly available for other KUDOKE 3 watches, and Kudoke offers Flakes engraving as an option across its HANDwerk collection; the sandblasted case is the Nocturne’s edition-specific detail.
What distinguishes the KUDOKE 3 Nocturne?
Kudoke announced the Nocturne on February 23, 2026, as a limited edition of 20 watches. It is a new combination of existing KUDOKE 3 elements rather than a new movement architecture: the watch retains the model’s unconventional display and hand-wound Kaliber 1, while adding a dark dial, Flakes movement engraving and a matte sandblasted case. Kudoke’s announcement identifies the sandblasted case as exclusive to the Nocturne.

How does the KUDOKE 3 tell time?
The display divides the task between two levels. Minutes are read on the upper dial ring. Hours are shown on the lower, three-part scale by a three-armed hand that moves between the two levels as it progresses. Because the scale is divided into three sections, 2, 6 and 10 appear twice during the hand’s progression. The polished-steel minute hand incorporates an infinity symbol, a recurring Kudoke motif. Monochrome’s February 25, 2026 launch coverage also credits Habring² with the movement’s development.
What is Flakes engraving?
Kudoke describes Flakes as a process in which small flakes of material are gradually cut from a surface. The resulting fine texture catches and reflects light, giving the movement bridge a more tactile appearance than a smooth finish. On the Nocturne, the decorated bridge is rhodium plated. The maker says Flakes can also be selected as a movement-engraving option for HANDwerk models beyond this edition; the official announcement does not state an option price.

Launch price, availability and strap fit
Kudoke gave the Nocturne’s launch price as EUR 12,574 excluding VAT. Monochrome reported the same launch figure. It should be treated as the announced price, not as a current quote: taxes, availability and any later pricing may differ. Kudoke’s announcement does not establish present stock.

Shellman’s Japanese product listing showed the watch as sold out when accessed on October 7, 2026; this is one retailer’s listing and does not establish availability across Kudoke or other retailers. Shellman lists a 20 mm strap width. If considering a replacement strap, confirm lug fit, strap length and buckle compatibility with the specific watch before ordering.
