Lebois & Co’s Heritage Small Seconds pairs a 1950s-inspired design language with a modern Swiss-made automatic watch. Its Founder’s Launch comprised three dial variants—Baton, Script and Numeral—built around the same 37.8 mm stainless-steel case and COSC-certified LC-350 movement. The 100-piece pre-order is closed; the brand’s launch page listed each at €2,650 and marked the models out of stock when accessed in 2026.
What is the Lebois & Co Heritage Small Seconds?
Heritage Small Seconds is a contemporary collection that revisits the small-seconds watches in Lebois & Co’s mid-century design heritage. The launch’s defining choice is the dial: buyers could choose among three distinct treatments, while the case, movement and core specifications were shared.
The collection also fits the story of a modern revival led by the brand’s founders. According to Lebois & Co’s history, Tom and Eveline van Wijlick came across an image of a vintage Lebois & Co chronograph in a Christie’s auction catalogue in 2014 and began investigating the unfamiliar name. Independent coverage reports that Dutch entrepreneur Tom van Wijlick revived the brand that year; it identifies Raymond Dodane, from the French Dodane watchmaking family, as Lebois & Co’s founder in 1934.
That origin is part of the modern brand’s narrative, not proof that the new watches are archival reissues. The brand’s own account connects the Numeral design to a watch sold at Christie’s in 2012, while its broader history traces the revival to the founders’ 2014 discovery.

How do Baton, Script and Numeral differ?
| Variant | Dial treatment | Character |
|---|---|---|
| Baton Small Seconds 641.480 | Elongated, pointed baton markers | A clean, linear look drawing on vintage Lebois designs, according to the brand. |
| Script Small Seconds 641.407 | Breguet-style typographic numerals | The most explicitly traditional, ornate dial treatment of the three. |
| Numeral Small Seconds 641.500 | Printed Arabic numerals | A more direct, easy-to-read numeral layout; the brand says it was inspired by a watch sold at Christie’s in 2012. |
These are differences in dial design, not separate watch architectures. The models share the small-seconds layout and the listed case and movement specifications. The vintage references and inspiration are the brand’s accounts of the designs, rather than independently documented provenance.

- Case: 316L stainless steel, 37.8 mm in diameter and 45.5 mm lug-to-lug.
- Thickness: 8 mm excluding the crystal; 10.5 mm including the domed sapphire.
- Lug width: 20 mm.
- Crystal and back: Double-domed sapphire crystal and a screwed-down see-through caseback.
- Water resistance: 5 ATM / 50 m.
- Movement: Automatic LC-350, listed as COSC-certified, with 31 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour and a 56-hour power reserve.
The 37.8 mm diameter is the case width, not the full span across the lugs. The 45.5 mm lug-to-lug measurement is useful for judging how the watch may sit across the wrist, though wrist shape and personal fit preferences also matter. A 20 mm lug width identifies the nominal width for a replacement strap; it does not establish compatibility for any particular third-party strap. Founder’s Launch buyers were offered a leather strap and a Fixoflex stretch bracelet.
Is the Heritage Small Seconds COSC-certified?
Yes. Lebois & Co identifies the LC-350 as COSC-certified and says each Heritage Small Seconds is certified by COSC, the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres. The brand describes COSC testing as taking place over multiple days, in five positions and three temperatures. That testing description is the brand’s account; the product listing is the source for the movement’s certification status.

How much did it cost, and is the Founder’s Launch still available?
The Founder’s Launch was a 100-piece pre-order, now closed. When accessed in 2026, Lebois & Co’s official launch page listed €2,650 for each of the three models and showed them as out of stock. The official product pages likewise say the pre-order has closed; these listings do not establish that the watches can currently be purchased elsewhere or that another production run is available.
The product pages estimated delivery from August 2026. That is an estimate associated with the closed pre-order, not a general delivery promise for a currently available watch. The brand says it will announce future availability of the Numeral in due course.

Launch-period reporting by Monochrome gave different figures for dimensions, pricing and estimated delivery than the current official listings. Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What does the launch say about Lebois & Co’s approach?
The brand’s history describes more than a single founder rediscovering an old name: it records a 2018 “Become a shareholder” campaign and a 2021 CoLAB project that invited enthusiasts into design development. Those initiatives help explain the company’s founder-and-community identity, but they do not establish that shareholders selected the details of Heritage Small Seconds.

In Fratello’s launch coverage, van Wijlick put the project this way: “Lebois & Co is not about nostalgia — it’s about rebuilding a tradition of mechanical elegance,”. The line captures the balance the collection aims for: recognizable vintage cues, expressed through a contemporary Swiss-made watch rather than presented as a period original.
