The Longines 24-Hours Single Pusher Chronograph pairs a full-day time display with a chronograph controlled by one push-piece in the crown. Its defining difference from a conventional watch is the hour hand: it completes one rotation every 24 hours, not every 12. Longines announced the Heritage model in 2014; the available sources do not establish whether it is still in production or currently for sale.
What is the Longines 24-Hours Single Pusher Chronograph?
Longines announced the watch on 20 August 2014 as the latest addition to its Heritage collection and described it as a reissue of an earlier pilot’s watch. The announcement image identifies reference L2.797.4.73.0. Longines called it “THE LONGINES TWENTY-FOUR HOURS SINGLE PUSH-PIECE CHRONOGRAPH.” Longines’ official announcement establishes the historical framing, but the page material available does not provide a full technical specification sheet.
How does the 24-hour dial work?
Contemporary coverage describes a shorter hour hand that reads the inner 24-hour track. It makes a complete rotation over a full day, so the hour hand’s position distinguishes morning from evening without requiring a second 12-hour cycle. The minute hand reads the outer scale, which is also used by the central chronograph seconds hand. This is a different reading convention from an ordinary 12-hour dial; Monochrome’s reviewer said it took getting used to, a personal observation rather than a universal usability verdict. Monochrome Watches’ 2014 coverage explains the hand and scale arrangement.
Horologium’s 17 September 2014 report describes a small-seconds subdial at the 18:00 position and a date display at 12:00 in the 24-hour layout. Its author notes that the inspected watch was a non-functioning prototype, so that report is not a functional test of the chronograph. Horologium’s hands-on report identifies the watch as reference L2.797.4.73.0.

How does the single-pusher chronograph operate?
The single push-piece is integrated into the crown. Horologium describes successive presses as starting, stopping, and resetting the chronograph. Because the inspected example was a non-working prototype, the article could not verify those operations firsthand. Monochrome reports that the watch uses a column-wheel calibre L789; it also reports a 54-hour power reserve. These are period specifications from specialist coverage, not details confirmed here by a current Longines technical sheet.
Reported dimensions and dial variants
Monochrome and Horologium each report a 47.5 mm case measurement. Horologium describes two dial treatments: a silver dial with a black outer minute ring and blued hands, and a black dial with a white minute ring and rhodium-plated hands. These details come from contemporary specialist coverage, rather than a current manufacturer specification page.

Reference number and buying context
The Longines announcement’s image associates reference L2.797.4.73.0 with the model. A later EveryWatch listing describes reference L2.797.4.73.2, a different suffix. Although that secondary listing reports similar dimensions and movement details, it does not establish that the suffixes are interchangeable or equivalent, nor does it confirm current production or stock. EveryWatch’s listing should therefore be treated as information about the listed reference only.
Current production status, prices, and authorized-retailer inventory are not established by these sources. If looking for the exact model, use the full reference number—L2.797.4.73.0—and confirm the reference, condition, and seller details directly before purchase; a listing or product name alone does not prove availability or authenticity.
