Longines introduced the Legend Diver in green, terracotta, and anthracite gray on 29 August 2024, expanding the 39 mm collection for its 65th anniversary. These are the three colors in that launch—not a new 2026 release. The terracotta steel-bracelet model is reference L3.764.4.96.6; the family shares a two-crown design, internal rotating diving flange, and manufacturer-stated 30-bar (300 m) water resistance.

The word “new” in coverage of these colors refers to that 2024 launch. On 5 June 2025, Longines made a separate update: a matte white dial and blue and black rubber strap options. Those additions are distinct from the 2024 color announcement. Longines’ June 2025 announcement
How the three 2024 colors compare
| Dial | What is established | Configuration and price |
|---|---|---|
| Green | One of the 39 mm stainless-steel colors announced in August 2024. | Longines’ U.S. page lists the green 39 mm model at $3,500 when accessed in 2026 and displays several dial and strap variations. That is a U.S.-specific observed price; verify the exact reference and local configuration before purchase. |
| Terracotta | The official steel-bracelet model is reference L3.764.4.96.6. | Longines’ Swiss product listing shows a regional Swiss-franc price; it is not a universal price. Check current pricing and availability in your market. |
| Anthracite gray | One of the 39 mm stainless-steel colors announced in August 2024. | Configuration and price vary by official regional listing; the cited materials do not establish a single global price. |
The official listings show that configurations can vary, but do not establish that every color is offered with every strap or bracelet in every market. Check the reference number and included strap or bracelet on the local listing rather than choosing by dial color alone. What the terracotta reference offers
Longines lists reference L3.764.4.96.6 as a 39 mm automatic stainless-steel watch with a steel bracelet. Its product page specifies a monocrystalline silicon balance-spring and a power reserve of up to 72 hours. It also lists a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a screw-in crown, and water resistance of 30 bar (300 m). These are manufacturer-published specifications, not results from independent testing. Longines’ terracotta model specifications

The Legend Diver’s two crowns serve separate functions: one operates the watch, while the other controls the internal rotating diving flange. Because the flange sits beneath the crystal rather than on the exposed edge of the case, it is less exposed to accidental knocks. Longines says the internal position “protects it from accidental manipulation and shocks that could alter its settings.” Longines product description

Choosing a color and checking a listing
- Choose by appearance: compare the green, terracotta, and anthracite gray dials in person or in current official images, since color rendering can vary by screen and lighting.
- Confirm the configuration: match the reference number to the desired dial and check whether the listing includes a bracelet or strap. Do not assume all color-and-strap combinations are offered in your country.
- Check current local terms: prices, availability, and regional configurations can change. The $3,500 figure applies to Longines’ U.S. green listing as observed in 2026; the terracotta page’s Swiss-franc amount is regional.
