It launched at US$499 with a 36 mm stainless-steel case, acrylic crystal and gray suede strap. Those are launch details—not proof that the watch is still available or that it currently sells for that price.
How the Stargazer display tells time
The Stargazer is a time-only watch; its distinctive display changes how hours, minutes and seconds are shown rather than adding a chronograph or another timing function. Worn & Wound framed the design around stars, the night sky and space-age aesthetics, describing it as inspired by “the mysteries of the universe, the allure of the stars, and the aesthetics of the space age.” The launch article credits the product design to Lorier Watches and Zach Weiss. - Hours: A luminous triangle on the rotating center disc points to the hour.
- Minutes: A large skeletonized circle makes one circuit per hour; its luminous triangle indicates minutes against the outer track.
- Seconds: A central three-spoke hand carries one green dot and two blue dots.
The dial is described as cosmic gray with nested, marked rings. Fratello further identifies gray, seafoam green and white elements, a gray outer track, a luminous ring and C3 and C9 Super-LumiNova. These are published descriptions, not independent assessments of legibility or lume performance.

The figures below are specifications reported by Fratello in its September 30, 2024 launch coverage; they are not measurements made independently for this article.

Fratello’s specification table identifies the caliber as Miyota 90S5. Worn & Wound’s launch copy first says “Miyota 9015” and later refers to “90S5,” so the launch sources are inconsistent in their wording; the detailed specification table supports 90S5. How it differs from the current standard Lorier Astra
Searches for “Lorier Astra” can mix the collaboration with Lorier’s current standard model. They share the Astra name and a 36 mm case size, but the current standard product page describes a different watch. The comparison below uses Fratello’s 2024 Stargazer specifications and Lorier’s standard Astra page as crawled October 8, 2026. The standard model’s displayed price and purchase status can change.

The standard Astra details come from Lorier’s current Astra product page; they should not be used as Stargazer specifications. In particular, the collaboration’s acrylic crystal, 90S5 listing and suede strap are distinct from the standard page’s sapphire crystal, 9039 and bracelet.
Is the Stargazer still available?
Worn & Wound announced the 200-piece edition on September 30, 2024, at US$499, with availability through Windup Watch Shop and shipping expected in December 2024. Those statements establish the original launch arrangement only. The cited sources do not confirm stock in October 2026, an authorized resale source, or a current secondary-market price. A listing for the standard Astra is not evidence that the Stargazer is available. Check any listing’s dial, crystal, movement and strap details against the collaboration specifications above before treating it as the limited edition.

What to check if buying a strap separately
The reported original strap is 20 mm wide. That makes a 20 mm gray suede watch strap a relevant category to consider, but lug width alone does not guarantee compatibility: confirm the strap’s attachment style and fit for the watch, as well as its width, before ordering. The sources establish the watch’s reported strap width, not that the original strap is currently sold separately.
