What is the MAEN Manhattan After Dark?
Manhattan After Dark is the name used for the MAEN Manhattan 37 – IFL.02, the second chapter of the MAEN–IFL collaboration on MAEN’s Manhattan 37 platform. It is a distinct collaboration reference, not simply a standard Manhattan 37 with a different dial. MAEN describes the broader platform as a 1970s-inspired design with a vertically elongated octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet.
For IFL.02, MAEN specifies a Sellita SW200-1 Swiss Made automatic movement. Although MAEN’s wider Manhattan 37 collection includes other movement configurations, including a La Joux-Perret G100 option, that movement is not the one listed for this collaboration. MAEN’s IFL.02 product listing and its MAEN × IFL collection page distinguish the exact reference from the broader range.

IFL Watches supplies additional movement and wearing details on its Manhattan After Dark listing: 26 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), approximately 38 hours of power reserve, 22 mm lug width and 121 g weight. IFL states water resistance as 10 bar/100 m. These finer details are attributed to IFL because its specification list differs from MAEN’s.
What makes the dial distinctive?
MAEN describes the dial’s palette as ink blue, smoke grey and electric accents, with a graffiti-inspired treatment. The brand says the dial is hand-painted in Sweden and notes that individual examples can vary slightly from promotional images. That variation is part of the stated production approach, so buyers should not expect every dial to match the listing photographs exactly.

How limited is the edition?
IFL calls the watch a “Limited edition 300 pieces worldwide.” MAEN’s delivery wording refers to the first 300 pieces and also mentions orders exceeding 300, so the two official descriptions do not establish the same clear production ceiling. If an exact cap matters to a buyer or collector, the discrepancy should be clarified with the brands rather than treating 300 as independently confirmed by both.
Price, order dates and availability
Both official product pages displayed a price of $1,499 in the October 3, 2026 snapshot. Treat this as a listed price, not a guaranteed current offer. MAEN’s page says its US shipments are delivered duty paid (DDP), while IFL states import duties and taxes are not included; the final landed cost therefore depends on which seller and destination apply.

Both brands’ pages showed the watch as sold out on October 3, 2026. MAEN offers an availability notification and IFL offers a waitlist or notification option. A sold-out status on these pages does not establish whether any secondary-market examples are available.
MAEN’s page gives an order window of November 3 at 4 PM CET through November 9 at 4 PM CET, but does not state the year. The dates should not be assigned a year by inference.

A Manhattan 37 user guide hosted by Manuals+ says an automatic watch should be manually wound when new or stopped and that the crown should be secured afterward.
