It brought bright summer dial colors to the brand’s automatic AIKON line in 35 mm, 39 mm and 42 mm sizes, with each reference limited to 888 pieces.
When did the Summer Edition come out?
Maurice Lacroix announced the collection on 4 July 2023. The brand described it as a seasonal take on the AIKON Automatic, a model first released in 2018 within a collection that began in 2016. Its announcement said the edition “swaps city life for vacation vibes while still remaining true to the classical model’s urban-themed design language.” That is the manufacturer’s description, rather than an independent assessment. Read the official announcement.
The watches may still appear in current retail or catalog listings, but that does not make them 2026 releases. Current catalog presence and launch date are separate facts.
What sizes, colors and references were offered?
The original 2023 line-up covered three case sizes. The manufacturer’s current U.S. collection snapshot lists five references; contemporaneous coverage of the launch documented a sixth, turquoise 42 mm reference. The table distinguishes those snapshots rather than treating the current U.S. catalog as the complete original launch range.

References and color names are from Maurice Lacroix’s product pages and 2023 announcement; the original six-reference range is also documented by contemporaneous independent coverage. The current U.S. collection page is a localized, changeable catalog view, not proof that every original variant remains available.
What are the movement and specifications?
Movement and functions
The official specifications for the 42 mm AI6008-SS00F-530-E list an automatic ML115 calibre with hours, minutes, seconds and date, a 38-hour power reserve, 28,800 vibrations per hour and 26 jewels. Independent launch coverage identifies the ML115 as based on the Sellita SW200-1; that base-calibre detail is not stated on the manufacturer’s product page.

Case, crystal and water resistance
The official 42 mm listing specifies a stainless-steel case with brushed and polished finishing, 11 mm height, a sapphire front crystal and exhibition caseback with anti-reflective coating, a screw-down crown, and 20 ATM water resistance. Official 35 mm and 39 mm product listings also state 20 ATM. An ATM rating alone does not establish a particular dive certification or make this a dive-watch recommendation.
Dial and strap details on the 42 mm orange model
The AI6008-SS00F-530-E has an orange Clous de Paris dial, black-plated hands and indices with white Super-LumiNova, and an orange branded rubber strap. Its official listing also gives a steel bracelet option.

How limited is the edition?
Maurice Lacroix stated in 2023 that each reference is limited to 888 pieces. The figure applies per reference, not to the whole collection combined. The brand’s announcement is the source for the limit.
Strap and bracelet options
The launch announcement says each model came with a matching FKM rubber strap and a five-row stainless-steel bracelet. Maurice Lacroix’s Easy Strap Exchange System is intended to let the wearer switch without tools. Listed strap or bracelet widths differ by case size: 20 mm for the 35 mm model, 23 mm for the 39 mm model, and 25 mm for the 42 mm model. Check the exact reference and attachment compatibility before buying a replacement or aftermarket strap.

What did the watches cost, and are they still available?
At launch, Maurice Lacroix listed CHF 2,450 for the 39 mm and 42 mm models and CHF 2,500 for the 35 mm models. Those are 2023 Swiss-franc launch prices, not current global prices. The current U.S. collection page shows entries from $2,700 to $3,200, while individual detail pages can show reference-specific prices and availability signals that differ from the collection view. Treat those as changeable U.S. catalog snapshots: confirm the exact reference, local price and stock status with the seller before deciding.

- Start with case size. Compare 35 mm, 39 mm and 42 mm against the proportions you prefer; the specifications alone cannot predict wrist fit.
- Choose the dial and markers. The 35 mm pink and turquoise options add eight diamond hour markers, while the larger sizes offer their own color combinations.
- Decide between rubber and steel. The matching FKM strap emphasizes the seasonal color; the five-row steel bracelet offers a less color-forward alternative. Confirm what is included with the specific listing.
- Check the exact reference before purchase. Prices, stock and which variants appear in a regional catalog can change, and strap dimensions vary across sizes.
This comparison is based on published specifications, not hands-on wrist-fit testing or an independent value assessment.
