Meta AI features and availability
Meta AI glasses combine hands-free capture and open-ear audio with access to an AI assistant. Manufacturer examples include asking Meta AI about something the wearer is looking at or asking it to translate visible text. Examples of prompts do not mean every feature is available on every model or in every country.
Availability has changed over time. On April 23, 2025, Meta announced expanded Meta AI access on Ray-Ban Meta glasses in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. How to distinguish Gen 2 from current listings
Ray-Ban’s current US product pages include multiple generations and product types. Check the generation named in the listing: current specifications for later models should not be attributed to the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 announced in 2025.
Meta Ray-Ban Display is a separate product, not another name for Gen 2. Its current US listing describes a 600 × 600-pixel display integrated into the right lens, for viewing messages, notifications, and visual answers. It also describes a Meta Neural Band that uses EMG signals and haptic feedback for controls. The band is described for Display; the research does not establish that it is compatible with Gen 2.
