The MING 18.01 H41 is the brand’s second-generation diver: a 40mm grade 5 titanium watch with a manufacturer-stated 1km water-resistance rating and a modified automatic ETA 2824-2. It is no longer in production. MING’s product archive, accessed October 8, 2026, says it is sold out, deliveries are complete and it will not be produced again.

Is the MING 18.01 H41 still available?

No new production is planned. MING’s official product archive marks the H41 sold out, says deliveries are complete and confirms it will not be produced again. That establishes the model’s production status, not whether a particular pre-owned example is for sale; the archive does not provide current secondary-market inventory or prices.

What are the H41’s dimensions and materials?

MING lists a 40mm case diameter, 12.9mm thickness, 46mm lug-to-lug length and 65g head weight. The case is grade 5 titanium with a solid caseback. The bezel is DLC-coated stainless steel, and the 3.5mm sapphire crystal has anti-reflective coating on both sides. These are the manufacturer’s specifications.

The stated 1km (3,280ft) water resistance is also a manufacturer claim, not an independent certification or test result established by the cited sources. MING’s design account says titanium was chosen to reduce the watch’s weight and height while retaining the intended depth capability.

How is the dial and bezel designed?

The dial uses a two-part composite construction, with ceramic HyCeram Super-LumiNova X1 fused to sapphire. MING says white areas use Super-LumiNova X1 in different forms across the bezel, hands and dial ring. The timer bezel’s 15-minute segments become less prominent through their progression, according to the brand.

The bezel is solid steel rather than a separate insert. MING says that construction was selected to avoid losing an insert through pressure changes or impact. It rotates counterclockwise in 60 clicks, making it unidirectional.

What movement does the MING H41 use?

Inside is a top-grade ETA 2824-2 automatic movement modified by Schwarz-Etienne for MING. The calendar and intermediate hand-setting position have been removed. MING lists central seconds, hacking seconds, a 40-hour power reserve, 28,800 beats per hour (4Hz) and 25 jewels. The movement is adjusted to five positions and subjected to a 250-hour test program, according to the manufacturer.

MING’s design account says it retained the ETA 2824-2 for robustness, reliability and sizing. The stated test program is a manufacturer specification; it should not be read as an independent performance test.

What controls and wearing details matter?

The H41 has a screw-down crown with triple gaskets. A red indicator becomes visible when the crown is unscrewed. MING’s operating guide warns that the watch is not water resistant while the crown is unscrewed, and advises keeping it fully pushed in and screwed down when wearing the watch.

MING specifies a 20x18mm curved quick-release rubber strap by Jean Rousseau Paris. The design journal describes the curved quick-release bracelet fitting as backwards compatible with MING watches using 20mm lugs. Confirm fit and availability before seeking replacement or alternate accessories; the archive does not establish current accessory stock.

How did the H41 come about?

MING introduced the H41 in 2020 as its second-generation diver, using Design Language 2. The name refers to generation H and variant 41 of the design study. In its design journal, the brand says the team developed eight major model families and then made 41 revisions within the final family to meet technical, practical and aesthetic requirements.

The official archive characterizes the watch as a “maximal, robust piece” demonstrating the versatility of the brand’s design language. Fratello’s August 7, 2020 launch coverage listed planned shipping for November 2020.

How much did the H41 cost at launch?

These are historical launch prices reported by Fratello in 2020, not current retail prices or estimates of pre-owned value.

Launch configuration Reported launch price
Two-tone on rubber CHF 2,950
Two-tone on bracelet CHF 3,250
DLC on rubber CHF 3,250

The source reported planned shipping in November 2020; neither these figures nor that schedule indicate present availability.

How do you operate and care for the H41?

  1. Wind a stopped watch: MING’s guide advises turning the crown 20–30 times and giving the watch a light shake to restart it.
  2. Wind or set the time: With the crown unscrewed, the second position is for hand winding; the third sets the hours and minutes. The movement hacks while setting.
  3. Secure the crown: Push it fully in and screw it down before wearing. The red warning indicator is visible when it is unscrewed, and the watch is not water resistant in that state.
  4. Clean the watch: Use a clean, damp, soft cloth. MING discourages cleaning agents and solutions.
  5. Charge the lume: Bright sunlight or a strong light, such as an LED torch, can charge the luminous material.
