What is the Möels & Co 528 Series 2?
The 528 Series 2, also called the 528 S2, is a rectangular, television-inspired wristwatch with an intentionally off-centre hours-and-minutes display. It retains the original 528 concept but updates it with a smaller, thinner case and a different movement. Its look is distinctive; its function is deliberately simple, with no additional complications. Time+Tide’s October 2025 launch coverage describes the design and model updates.

The exhibition sapphire caseback offers a view of the movement, as reported by Time+Tide. The stated 50 m water-resistance rating should not be treated as a guarantee for swimming or immersion. Möels & Co’s Lunera product listing gives the case, crystal, movement, and water-resistance specifications.
Dial and strap options
Time+Tide names five Series 2 dial versions: Desert Mirage, Vistamare, Solo Argento, Lunera and Hexara. They are variations in appearance and finish rather than different complications: the watch remains hours-and-minutes only. Luminous details also vary; for example, the official Lunera page describes a glossy black dial with luminous hands and non-luminous numerals.

Straps and accessory availability can differ by dial and stock. The Lunera listing shows Delugs Epsom leather and white cut-to-size FKM rubber options. Time+Tide reports a 20 mm lug width, leather in multiple colors, white FKM rubber, and a Staib mesh bracelet as an add-on; the official Solo Argento listing also shows an optional Staib mesh bracelet. If buying another strap, confirm the attachment and fit for the specific watch and strap listing rather than relying on width alone.
Price and availability
Möels & Co’s Lunera page displayed £1,650 when accessed in 2026. The page also showed “Only 1 available” when crawled, but price and stock are volatile; check the live listing for the current amount, inventory, taxes and delivery terms.

For context, Time+Tide’s article published 27 October 2025 reported historical launch pricing of £1,350 excluding tax for pre-orders and £1,650 excluding tax at full price, with pre-orders due to open on 28 October 2025. Those were launch-era figures, not a statement of today’s tax-inclusive checkout total.
Fit, water resistance and warranty: what to check before ordering
- Check the fit first. The seller recommends using its wrist-size try-on template and says it does not accept returns for size-related issues. Review the current policy and try-on instructions before placing an order.
- Read the water-resistance guidance conservatively. The listing states 50 m / 164 ft, but that rating alone is not a promise that every use involving water is covered or appropriate.
- Review warranty terms. The seller lists a three-year international limited warranty for manufacturing and mechanical defects. Its exclusions include water damage when the crown is not fully pushed in, impact damage, misuse, modifications and repair by a non-certified provider. Check the current warranty wording for the exact terms that apply to your purchase.
Who is the 528 Series 2 for?
This watch makes most sense for someone drawn to its unusual TV-shaped case and off-centre layout who wants a mechanical, manual-wind watch with a time-only display. The relatively slim listed depth and smaller case compared with the original 528 concept are part of the Series 2 update, but the rectangular proportions and distinctive dial arrangement are the main design commitment. If you prefer conventional round-watch styling, extra complications or a low-maintenance automatic movement, its appeal may be narrower.
